Visited this BBQ location during a visit to Springfield recently and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. All the meats were great and it’s hard to find good brisket outside of Texas. We also had baked beans, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese. All the sides were good although the potato salad was a bit sweet for my liking. They have a selection of house BBQ sauces as well that were good too. The staff was friendly, it was easy to get in and out of the store, and they allow order ahead. Overall, a really good BBQ joint and wouldn’t hesitate to visit it again.

Went here with some friends for the first time and it was neat! I love that they just stick meat on bread and call it a sandwich and it tasted great! We had a good time hanging out and chatting. The staff was very helpful explaining the menu and such. Only reason for rating the food low is most of us ended up with a nasty stomachache afterward. I don’t know what it is about some restaurants that the food just goes right through ya! Must depend on who you are and what food you’re used to…

Really enjoyed both variations of burnt ends as well as the pulled pork. As for the sides, the baked beans were my favorite. To top it off, I got the blueberry cheesecake and was not disappointed, it was absolutely delicious.

Highly disappointing bland food. I was expecting so much more. The menu lacks, the coleslaw had zero taste- the dressing had no zing like most slaws have. The sandwich was mediocre at best. Sauces lacked flavor. I’ve had way better smoked beans out of a can. High prices. Won’t be going back.

Burnt ends are amazing! Ribs, cheesy corn, pulled pork nachos also recommended. My only complaints are that there are no fried sides, and I’ve tried the brisket a couple of times, and it’s been very dry both times. Overall, very high quality BBQ!

I waited in line for 1.5hrs at Jack Stacks bbq in Kansas City and was so disappointed in the lack of flavor… Waited in line two minutes here at Smokin Bobs and was so impressed with the flavor. 10/10

Fantastic food and great prices. The sides are smoked as well, and are the perfect accompaniment to their delicious meats. I got 3 meats (jalapeño sausage, brisket, and burnt ends) and 2 sides (smoked potato salad and smokey corn). It’s all amazing and a generous portion means I’ll get at least another meal out of it. I’m happy to have found this place.

Some good bbq with good sized portions. Prices didn’t break the bank. The brisket was a bit on the dry side but was so tender you don’t need teeth. Spicey sausage was yummy.
