Pretty good bbq if you are passing through! My favorite was the catfish though it was so flavorful!

Smokey Bears is always a good place to visit if your hungry. The restaurant isn’t fancy, but is always clean. I have never experienced bad service. The only complaint I have is there is not a changing table for parents with little ones.

Ordered BBQ from Smokey Bear’s last night on Door Dash ( Wasn’t able to get to town for dinner). The food was prepared quickly and arrived quickly. We got the Outlaw Burger, Prison Yard Salad and Pig Taters. The salad was surprisingly huge, full of fresh ingredients including bacon, shredded cheese, ham, pepperoncinis, hard-boiled egg, etc. Lettuce mix was also very fresh. The fries arrived hot, crispy topped with pulled pork, bacon, melted cheese , BBQ sauce, jalapenos & spices – absolutely delicious

The waitress Shanna was what made the cafe so great. She was so helpful in describing & suggesting the different bbg sauces, what the different menu dishes contained, etc……Oh Yeah, the foods were awesome. The smoked Brisket sandwich was great, even without adding of their homebrewed sauces.the 2hmeat platters were actually ribs and 2 other meats, we got a giant chicken breast & wings. The deep-fried sweet corn never before heard of: tons of butter & a secret dry-rub seasoning. Maybe 1/2 hr. to get the grub. We bought sauces to take home!

Traveling through Kentucky from Michigan and was in search of some good BBQ. Found this on a travel list and I’m so glad I did. Best sweet tea and one of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. My husband got the pig taters and I got the pulled pork sandwich with beans and we split. Soo yummy.

If you are looking for excellent barbecue, look no further! We traveled down from Central New York to camp and see family. We chose to give Smokey bear a try and we were so glad we did. The food was excellent and the service was superior. I recommend the Kentucky cheese steak it was amazing. The original Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Philly cheese steak) has nothing on them. AAA+

This was a great find on our way from Kentucky to Gatlinburg. Excellent service and pulled pork! The spicy jailbreaker was huge and delicious, deep fried corn on the cob was a nice side as well as the corn bites. Highly recommend.

Local place (appeared to be lots of locals eating there — eat where the locals eat!) with excellent food, about two minutes east off I-75. I had the jailbreaker which was just terrific. Pulled pork, not chopped. The Queen had a massive and tasty chicken breast that she could not finish. My fries were good but I would have preferred the tater tots I ordered. Can’t stress enough how good the food was. Big smoker outside so you know this is the real deal. Nice meal stop between Lexington and Knoxville.
