What a great place when in La Grande! The staff was very welcoming when coming through door – it was like they’d seen us before and were glad we were back. The waitress was super friendly recommending what to order. We loved that they serve breakfast through the whole time they’re open. Food was hot, fresh, and homemade!

Hungry so I ordered the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Was asked if I wanted gravy on the potatoes, my response was absolutely yes. And I was brought my plate there was a chicken fried steak with cream gravy our country gravy I guess is the correct term. The potatoes had brown gravy from like a cafeteria or something so we got two different gravies fighting each other on this thing. I didn’t even complain I just yeah okay fine whatever.

My grandma took me here for the first time and it was fabulous! We were greeted by the girls and seated quickly and are order was out before we even finished our salads from there noticeable clean salad bar! We got the chicken fried steak and it was the best I’ve found around n.e oregon! I was highly impressed!!

Awesome, homemade meals. As a retired cook, I can tell that they put Love into every plate. The service was great. Never had to wait at all. The prices are really good. Better than you would expect for a diner style restaurant. My wife and I had our 20th anniversary breakfast. The cooks heard from the waitress about our anniversary. They went ahead and paid for our entire meal (still tipped the waitress because that’s just good form). My wife had eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was made to order. I had biscuits and gravy. I could tell that that was completely made in the restaurant.

Food was good. Clean restaurant but the wait time for food was extremely too long! From the time I sat down at the counter, for one person, it took exactly 40 minutes for order to arrive! They had plenty of servers and it wasn’t that busy around 1100am. I would give service more stars, but it just took way too long. Be prepared to wait for your order.
