I have patronized this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The owner and staff have always been friendly and professional. The dining area is always clean and condiment area is clean and fully stocked. My go to menu items are the Brisket, Old Bay Wings, Mac & Cheese and collards or green beans. I’ve tried the ribs and they tender and flavorful. I took my mom for the first time early this week and she finished her ribs & fish in the car before I could get her home. Because this is good ol’ comfort food I do not eat here often. But when I want a filling meal this is my go to! I would definitely recommend this establishment!

Great service and food. No exaggeration. We enjoyed the full catering spread at a family gathering. The catfish nuggets were soooooo good. We were sneaking them before the party even started. I had the pleasure to order for my own get-together, and the food was again a hit! This time, the wings were stolen before dinner.

After numerous times smelling the BBQ smoke coming from the back of the building, I decided to give them a try. I didn’t read the reviews before coming in, and I’m glad that I didn’t. I ordered the wings and ribs which also came with fries and hushpuppies and they were all amazing. Every item came the way that someone would expect it.

The food was tasty. Just don’t go here if you’re hungry. 1 rib and 2 pieces of catfish &2sides for 25 bucks. The rib barely had any meat on it as you see in the picture.

Does not properly store food! Fish bags are not dated! Fryers are left open all night for debris to contaminate oil.Greens are left on the floor in freezer where raw chicken is stored.Raw chicken juice falls on floor,while the greens in the box soak up the juices! They don’t mind dropping your food and putting it back on your plate as well! (This is a Military Store Owner Establishment And Its sad to say it needs to be Shut-down for not following Simple protocols!)

I just want to start off by saying most of the food is usually good if you get it at its freshest. However it’s very insulting reading the responses from the employer saying most people want unemployment and it’s hard to find people to work. I myself have worked there and the employers have absolutely no appreciation for their employees. They treat them very closely to to slaves. For the most part, from the time I worked until this day, they only seem to hire young high school kids to take advantage of. I think if they valued their employees more, they would have a better staff. It started off with them priding themselves with the fact that they were some how qualified to pay their employees less than minimum wage. Then I come from a couple years in the restaurant industry, they were very close minded people, with no restaurant experience themselves. They were very belittling, I got sent home one day because “I wasn’t doing what I was told” and I had a difference in opinion with the owner. The work was extensive for the young kids they had working. They did not follow a lot of important safety protocols. I just think they were not very attentive to the way the employees were treated keeping in mind the pay they made.
