My cousin’s birthday party was held here and almost everybody got a steak I got something else because of my budget but I have been here a Fair bit of a lot of times and I have always enjoyed it and the people that I’m around. The parking lot is Old Fashioned and the owner once in a while will be sitting up front and he will greet people as they come in.

Pulled pork would have been better without the sauce or at least on the side. Chicken was cut up, which was really weird. Onion rings were the star, which at a BBQ place is rather disappointing.

On Saturday, June 12, 2021 we went to “Boo’s” Smoke House BBQ because my oldest brother had mentioned how good the smoked porkchop was. As we entered, the owner, Mr. Boo was sitting on the bench. Not knowing who he was at the time, I asked of he was owner and he replied, “Yes, I am. My name is Boo!” I introduced myself and told him that my brother said how good it was and we didn’t look to be disappointed..LoL. Yes, he was very hospitable with a welcoming smile! 🙂

Ordered a 16 oz ribeye medium and got it home and was overcooked and a lot of salt and was a tough piece of meat for $48.00 . They used to have decent steaks for the price but this was like a tough piece of meat like you would get at a chain steak house. Very disappointing.

BBQ was decent. I wouldn’t drive more tan 10 mins to eat it. Honestly the best thing they had was BBQ chicken wings. It was good but not as great as I had hoped-for.

Smiling faces of the waitresses was very inviting. Ribs were good I would rate 6 of 10. I will return it was a nice calm atmosphere

First time eating here and it definitely won’t be the last! The ribs were falling off the bone tender, the pulled pork was delicious! My husband got the sweet potato casserole and it was fantastic! I got a baked potato casserole and it was so good! Dessert was bread pudding and let me tell you, it was so good, I would say the best I’ve eaten, Very most and served hot! Staff was super nice and our waitress was very friendly! Can’t wait to go back!!

Went the night before Mother’s day for steaks with my hubby. We were NOT disappointed! The staff is super friendly (even tho really busy!) the menu had a great variety of smoked meats and sides, but we had our hearts set on a steak..I don’t know that I have ever had as tender a steak as my 12oz Ribeye! Hubby had the 16oz Ribeye and he said (& I quote) “one of the best tasting steaks I’ve had out, in a long time!” The sides were fresh, the baked potatoes were hot and they came with toppings on the side, au jus and a fresh baked yeast roll! We were FULL when we left, but definitely going back to try some BBQ and bread pudding!! (That’s my 12oz in the picture)

This place has it all and nothing is bad. It reminds me of a place in my home town of Louisville, it’s got it all and it’s all so good. My husband and I are living tight these days so we always share and meal and I will tell u the 16 oz Ribeye was so so tender and cooked perfectly, the salad dressing.taste like homemade you see this isn’t the first time, it’s consistent. I’ve met the owner 12 years ago and he is the real deal! Good Grief don’t pass this place up. ❤️❤️❤️
