Friendly staff and delicious smoked wings (although they were scrawny little things). I was really hoping to get some out of this world brisket but made the mistake of ordering what’s shown in the picture… Pretty disappointing. Sides were okay, a bit of a weird aftertaste on the Mac & Cheese.

Chicken was good. Wish I would have ordered the wings, but got the trio. The chicken was good by itself, and the vinegar sauce took it to new heights!

Little hole in the wall BBQ place in High Springs. Food is really good. The setup is similar to 4Rivers, where you order at the counter when you walk in, then the food is delivered to your table. Decor is nice and bright. Great spot to grab a quick lunch.

My boyfriend stopped I on a lazy Sunday evening and had a hankering for some BBQ… SmokeFried really blows BBQ out of the water!! So good we almost didn’t even need sauce! Everything was delicious! The owner and staff were especially friendly and we even had the chance to sample one of the new items (not yet on the menu, no spoilers!). They were all so nice, just all around good people. Can’t wait to come back!

We just had an event catered by smoke fried. DO IT! They were great! The food was fantastic. We had brisket (with the perfect rub and amount of smoke), pulled pork, cowboy beans, mac and cheese, greens and cornbread. They were extremely easy to work with, from estimating the right amounts, to making suggestions on the menu, to delivery and set up. The food was fantastic! Sometimes you expect offsite catering to be a little dry, or slightly overdone with the chafing dishes, but this was not the case. I can’t recommend them enough. With everything nowadays being so commercial and without character, we love this local homegrown business.

An awesome place to eat! Great service & hospitality! Food was excellent! Great pulled pork, fantastic fries, & the best baked beans I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. You should stop by or get pick up like we did. You will not be disappointed!

Today was my first experience. We ordered for pick up during the lunch rush. I ordered the flapper platter. When I got it, it was no fries and these pitiful looking wings. If I hadn’t spent $8 for the platter, I wouldn’t have worried about it. I called the manager and told him I was at work across the street and what the problem was. He told me to throw out the wings and he would have someone walk me a fresh platter over. I was amazed. It was such a difference. Wings were plump and juicy, could have been more fries. Overall with customer service, it was a good experience. Advice, never go during the rush hours.

I love this BBQ joint. Food tasted VERY fresh, smoked meats were delicious. I personally like Smoke Fried’s food better than Newberry backyard. What made the experience even better was seeing the owner making table rounds to ensure everything was good for everyone.

Fantastic food and wonderful customer service. We had ribs, chicken, and pulled pork, all absolutely delicious!! Sides are all great too! Don’t miss this great spot if you are anywhere near High Springs.

Was not impressed with their food. The pulled pork was dry and cold. The girl at register who took my order was very professional but the others were horseplaying and unprofessional. It was a cute little place, but definitely need do better.
