From bar to table the wait staff is personable and attentive. Our waitress made informed suggestions and was super helpful. The atmosphere was lively and fun but not overwhelming. The food was amazing! Our steaks were perfect. Appetizers were awesome. We had no room for dessert but are excited to eat the peanut butter cookie cake we got to go. We will absolutely be back.

When you go somewhere 5 times in a month and have had a great experience every time, it’s time to write a review. This place is a hidden gem. The service is fast and friendly, the portions are generous, and the food is excellent. It seems like no matter when you visit, they’re bringing sizzling, steaming steaks out to other tables, and you won’t regret ordering one of your own.

Everything tasted good but there’s room for improvement. Serving my ribeye on a sizzling fajita pan not only cooked it from the ordered medium until it was well done, but it also spat grease all over the table as well as my face and glasses. Overall I would still recommend. The fries were great

All of their tables were full but they sat us at the bar so we could eat. My wife got a “fruit punch” drink and it was excellent but definitely sweet. The sour kraut balls were super good, home made with real kraut and corned beef inside them not some frozen bagged ones. Wife got a $7 burger and fries which is incredibly cheap and was delicious. I got strip steak with onion rings and Mac&cheese for $22. Onion rings were the best I’ve had in years, steak was cooked perfectly and came out on a cast iron skillet and the Mac and cheese was good. Overall we were super happy with our visit.

I really wanted to love this place since it’s local hometown folks. The salad, cheese sticks and steak were great. The fries were overcooked and cold, I couldn’t even pick them up with my fork, they just shattered when I tried stabbing them. My wife’s baked potato sat in the foil way to long after it was cooked and was like glue. We had to remind the waitress about our appetizer which she brought just before our steaks finally came out. They weren’t even that busy but we waited 45 minutes. I gotta say I went there for the steak and it was cooked perfectly, could have used a bit of salt, but it was delicious. I might go again. I’m in the fence about it.

AMAZING food and outstanding service! The crab Rangoon is THE BEST I’ve ever tasted and I will order it every time we eat here! The homemade rolls with cinnamon butter melt in your mouth. Steaks came out sizzling and were so delicious! Definitely will be back!

We Door Dashed Smitty’s for the first time. WOW! Club Sandwich was huge and delicious! The fried mushrooms were special, not the frozen ones from a bag. These Shrooms were hand breaded and FRESH. Even the buttermilk ranch dressing was fresh! The Sauerkraut balls were rich, warm, melty, and hearty. We’ll be regulars. Thanks, Smitty’s.

Wanted to express my thanks to the staff. Just passing thru decided to stop at a place that caters to veterans. I was there about 20:00 and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. Staff was friendly, and the food was great. The gentleman that took my order was friendly, kind and kept checking on me to see how my meal was. As well as the woman walking around asking customers how their meal was. My only regret is I didn’t get names of the staff but I will tell you I will be there again. So, again thanks to the friendly atmosphere and will be back soon..

Tried out Smitty’s Steak and Ale tonight. It was Fantastic. We had the 2 steak dinner special. The Strip Steak was cooked excellent. Awesome sizzling platters so every bite is warm. Our server was fantastic and cheerful. We will definitely be back.
