Think of Shari’s or Denny’s but even better! Food was amazing as was the service. It was exactly what we were looking for. We got the country fried steak, with sausage gravy on the side, and a club sandwich. My husband is always trying to find the absolute best country fried steak. He ranked this as his #2 spot! The club sandwich was so packed that I couldn’t finish it. Easy to find and park. Next time we are in the neighborhood we will make a point to stop in again.

I was extremely disappointed in the food. A great waitress cannot make up for horrible food. Five of us ate there, two had upset stomachs afterword. My fried potatoes were rubbery like they had been microwaved. We will never go back.

Mediocre food and higher prices than it was worth. My eggs were overcooked and ham dry. My husband had home style potatoes that were tasteless like they were cooked in microwave and his chicken fried steak was hard and dry. The decor is old and worn. Overall a big disappointment

Service isn’t good, waited an hour and half for food, wasn’t great. Burnt food. Way over priced. Apparently they have a shortage of cooks and don’t tell you how long the wait is. Will not go back. Save time and money and go to dennys, or somewhere in Vancouver, it’s much faster and the foods better!

Had breakfast during one of the times it was open. . Usually on weekends. Very busy, but was seated quickly and served water and coffee and the waitress came with coffee and took our order. I ordered a rib steak breakfast with homes potatoes and orange juice. The orange juice taste funny, kind of like half grapefruit and part sunny D . Not good! Food arrived quickly … the home potatoes were very greasy and taste like old potatoes with old grease. my husband’s hash browns were overcooked but not greasy. My rib eye steak was good and we have been there before and the food is always great. Wish they were open all the time and not just week ends

Ok, the one star was for the eggs & bacon. The French toast was tasteless. One of the people in our party ordered hot chocolate. The presentation was nice. However, the drink it self had ants floating in it! When we spoke to them about, they just just removed it from the bill. No offer to compensate for anything else. Find another place to dine.

Overall, not good. Got food poisoning( threw up 9 times over the course of 2 days) just from eating some dinosaur shaped nuggets. The pears I got with my order also seemed to be canned. I highly recommend that you steer clear of Smitty’s. The people working there are nice but the food is bad enough to make me stay far far away.
