First time visitor! I would pass by and smell the BBQ smoker and see all the cars in the parking lot so I had to check it out. I’ve been let down by BBQ before, but a busy parking lot is usually a good sign.

The SAUCES!!! Okay so I’ve been looking around the Woodstock to find a BBQ place with the best meat and sauces. After trying 5, this one takes the top for sauce. They had a wide selection of sauces ranging in sweet to hot to other. There was truly something for everyone. They even have an economical refill program if you buy their sauce!

Best brisket in the area. Good portions and good sides. The corn muffins are awesome and the collard greens are soft and flavored perfectly. The bbq sauce has a Smokey tang. I’ve tried about 7-8 different places around here and this is by far the best.

By far my favorite BBQ place. Their sauces take the cake. We love their Vegan Pork which we topped with their vegan slaw and the triple S sauce . 10/10. Toast was perfection. The peach cobbler was also tasty! Will be back with friends.

I wanted to love this place, but it was just OK. $37 for this plate and a beer was a bit much. I wouldn’t mind paying that(and more) if it was worth it, but it was just OK. Brisket was cooked well but didn’t taste like much, and the ribs were a bit tough.

We had a great time at Smitty’s Lockdown BBQ & Grill. They have so many flavors of BBQ sauce to try. We stuffed ourselves on brisket, pork, sausage, and various sides. Service was wonderful; a server named Fry took the time to review all the parts of their menu, which have fun names like The Spread, Bunkie, Violator, Boneyard, and Zoom Zooms. This eatery does a lot of take-out and catering as well.

Lockdown was built insid an old bank. As a result, there is a section that has seats inside an area closed off by bars! We used this area for a small birthday party! We brought the cake, ordered our food and sat down. The staff was so sweet!! They sang happy birthday, offered to take pics for us and cleaned up in between cake and food so we had a clean table for dessert! It was a very special day
