I would give this place 10 stars if I could. One of the most friendly places I have ever entered. The staff was WONDERFUL and the food was great! We enjoyed talking to the manager. He was extremely nice and very happy. The restaurant was clean and bright. I wish we had one of these in my hometown.

Service has come down. Don’t know if it is management change or employees. Ordered a value pack broken down, I guess that means it doesn’t come with a bun. My drink was filled to the brim with ice, yeah smart one, I maybe got 3 sips before it was empty. My sides for the plate barely existed. I was at the second window and the cook was on his phone, very professional Smithfield’s. I would very much enjoy if customer service would give me a call. I would like to change my rating.

The food is and always has been good but the drive thru is a MESS. This is now the THIRD time that I have been asked to “pull up to the white line” and have waited OVER 20 MINUTES to get my food. And that sounds dramatic, its not. Its 3:46pm and I paid and got the receipt at 3:26pm. I still dont know how much longer Im going to wait, but inexperienced staff and broken processes is an understatement. I really hope they fix this, because Ive been coming to Smithfields for over 20yrs and this breaks my heart to see how poorly this restaurant is being managed.

The food we did get was good. Went on a Tuesday evening around 2030. The lady taking orders struggled big time. She kept asking for clarification on the car in front of me’s order and saying she couldn’t hear him. I literally sat for 10 minutes waiting to order, behind one car that was already in process when I arrived. Then I ordered an eight piece and a couple sides. When she quoted the price, it was almost the same as the Tailgate, so I told her to just switch it to that. I should have known better than to expect that to be a simple transition because telling her we only wanted one dozen hush puppies, since we never eat all of them, was apparently mind-boggling. Then she asked me which sides. I said, “The ones I just ordered.” ♀️ She verified that I wanted the”barbecue pork.” I confirmed that a couple times. Get up to window, wait another 5 minutes after it took 5 minutes or more to order. Paid and came home. Guess what! No pork… Oy. And the restaurant was closed by then. We go to the one off Yopp all the time. I should have just gone there but was afraid they would be closed by the time I got there.

Me and my husband went to Smithfield’s on Gumbranch for dinner tonight and had a great experience. Omar provided us great customer service. He was very kind and even when I asked to do an add on at the window he didn’t get frustrated or anything but was BEYOND patient and kind. I appreciate that – I had a pretty rough day today and just coming across his kind demeanor made all the difference!!! Customer service 10/10. Food was great!!
