I remember 40 years ago, the first chili cheese burger I had at the corner of Smith and Washington, these are just as good maybe better. The CC dogs are awesome also. Our local restaurants like Coney Island are definitely our jewels. They have excellent customer service, even when they are busy you don’t have to wait much more than 5 minutes for your order.

I was the odd man out by bot ordering the chili cheeseburgers BUT the two nicely dressed cheeseburgers I got were excellent. The toppings were fresh and the buns were nice and toasted. Cold can of coke too. Made the rest of the work day much better.

I love this place. Anytime I pass by if I have money I HAVE to stop. The food is awesome and the friendly atmosphere makes it the perfect “down home” place to stop and eat. Even better now that they deliver! I have ordered delivery twice now: first was a shrimp PO Boy- what I ate of it was awesome. I had to fight for it because I was with someone who doesn’t like shrimp BUT SHE SURE ATE MINE.

Used to be absolutely delicious. Now, burger is paper thin and burnt, buns are burnt, chili is watered down and way too salty. The only delicious thing about it was the can of RC. After 25+ years eating here Will NEVER eat here again

Always the same which in this case, is always good. Local restaurants like these keep communities together. Friendly staff and not a long wait time. If you’re from out of town, it’s not the healthiest thing but for around here nostalgia always tastes good.
