Despite or because of the mixed reviews, we felt we needed to go and decide for ourselves. We sat outside with the only other guests on a beautiful summer evening, and enjoyed a locally brewed shandie. Had the wings and portobello appetizers. The wings were breaded and dripping with sauce, good flavor but not my style. The mushroom wedges were breaded and deep fried, again tasty but not our style. We ordered the Captains platter to share and were pleased. Service was good, but with only two tables sitting it’s expected. Overall we would say if you like old style fried and breaded seafood, it’s an okay choice. Posting pictures of the menu we couldn’t find online.

Looking for great seafood? This is the place! They have oysters on the half shell, stone crab legs, lump crab cakes, lobster, and mussels! The wait staff was very attentive. Victoria was wonderful and always checking in. The bartender even came over to confirm our drink order and presented the house specialty cocktails. The fresh fruit watermelon margarita was absolutely fabulous. It was a perfect summertime cocktail! We will definitely be back again!

I ordered a French dip. It came out with pastrami instead of roast beef. My husband ordered fish tacos and they arrived cold with no aoli. Just fish and lettuce. Not to mention we waited an hour for our food and it was not busy at all. Our server was sweet but unfortunately we had such a bad experience we will never go back there again.

We got our calamari and it didn’t come with the sauce that the menu listed. We received the sauce, which appeared to be lots of mayo and a little but of siracha – the proportions were off on this aioli. Our dinner came and my order was comped before arrival because there was half a serving of pasta. Which is fine, but the Alfredo sauce did not taste good and the shrimp was fried. Why would shrimp be fried for an Alfredo? This was also not listed on the menu. The other dish received was mussels, which tasted sour. Both of our dishes were served without the sides listed on the menu. Would not recommend.

First time, only one out of six of got what he ordered and was cooked well. The owner stopped by our table to ask how everything was and when we told her, she gave us excuses. Not a good experience. I went again, ordered the same thing and it was good. Again we didn’t get what was ordered, portions were small, and not well cooked. Not going back.

So bad! We ordered 2 apps to split, intending to order something else after. We waited 20 minutes for the server to tell us that they were actually out of one of the apps. No big deal, we will just choose something else. While we were looking at the menu, the first app came out. It was hideous, some greasy looking mushroom slices surrounded by raw mushrooms and no garlic aioli. When we asked for it the server said “Oh, you wanted that?” and then disappeared for 6 minutes (we timed her) to stand in the kitchen in full view of us and talk with another server. By the time she finally brought the aioli, the fried monstrosities were cold and greasy. We declined to order anything else at that point, paid and left. There are better restaurants in Littleton. There have to be.

Just about as bad as an experience as one can have. Over cooked food, undercooked fries, inattentive waitress and the place was dead, half of the items on the menu weren’t available, fish tacos with little to no fish to be found. Side items that were supposed to be served with entrees were not brought out. Our first time in Littleton, our last time at Smith Brothers Tavern

Definitely dont just read bad reviews and decide not to go. We gave it a shot and the atmosphere was great. Waitress was kind and helpful and the food was pretty good. As far as I’m concerned if you go to a restaurant the first month or so it just opened maybe try giving constructive criticism instead of writing nasty reviews.

The food was excellent: shrimp and oysters were very fresh and tasty. Our waitress Maddie was cheerful and a great server. Good luck to this new restaurant, keep up the great service and food selections.
