Our first experience at this restaurant. Met the owners on a walk and this is why we are here to give it a try. We aren’t big seafood people. We had great service (Collin) and the food we selected was wonderful. If you like seafood give them a try. We will definitely be back.

At Ultium Cells this place was posted up. Never tried it before and I thought, why not? First of all the flavor was definitely worth it. My only issue is the shrimp was lightly breaded and would tear off ever time I dunked it into the cocktail sauce. Other than that this was definitely a good meal. $20 with a coke. The food came out piping hot! Just the way I love it!

So this was my first time but the rest of the family has been here several times and then it’s definitely turned into one of their favorite places. The food was really delicious and they rave at how good the king crab boil is. Definitely a breath of fresh air having a good, quality seafood restaurant! The decor is really bright and cheerful too bringing in a little bit of that NOLA vibe! I almost forgot to mention how great the service was, Keith was our server and he was awesome, fun, helpful and definitely did a great job!

Went to Smashin Crab for the first time today for lunch with my husband. From the looks of the outside of the restaurant we thought it was an upscale restaurant but to our surprise it was very casual. The food was good and they gave you very generous amounts of food. I had the shrimp basket with fries and my husband ordered the catfish basket. We also ordered a basket of fried pickles which were very good. Our waitress Maddi was super nice and very knowledgeable of the menu.

My wife, infant daughter, and I just dined with Smashing Crab in Hendersonville. From the initial greet from our server, Ramsie, to the end of the experience, we were thoroughly impressed. As a Senior leader in the hotel F&B industry, Ramsie followed steps of service perfectly and explained in detail my many questions about the menu and potion sizes as we were there for the first time. The lobster roll was cooked to perfection and the Cajun fries were delicious. The only flaw would be the quality and appearance of the shrimp pasta. The cost should reflect the dish. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu and hopefully share our experience with others.

Service was awesome at Smashin Crab. Our server, Ramsie, was very pleasant & helpful. Our food came out hot. The catfish strips, shrimp, cajun fries, & coleslaw was very good with a flavorful taste. Great atmosphere.

We tried out Smashin Crabs the night before their grand opening. We ordered the bloody mary which had the perfect amount of spice and a moscow mule which packed a punch. Then started off with the Jambalaya bites which were perfectly crisp and char grilled oysters that we all agreed were delicious, which we can’t say for all places especially with the New Orleans native in our group.

Really good seafood. Love the freshness – very noticeable and better quality than other seafood boil places in the Nashville area. Love the seasoning profiles. My only other comment is they may potentially over boil the crab and shrimp a little (leaving you to peel longer – been here twice so far and both times this is the case), however the taste overall is worth the additional effort. Boudin balls are also noteworthy – very good.

Drinks were definitely strong. Flavors were good. Would have like to see the tomalley (intestines) clean and gutted out of my lobster. Was not clean at all. Was not please to see my lobster being partially green, especially considering I spend a easy $300 this day. Would like to see a option where they offer peel shrimp for those that don’t like to peel the shrimp whole. But I would definitely return other then that. The food was actually good. Great atmosphere nonetheless.

I was impressed with the Snow Crab at this location! I got the “trinity”which is all the sauces in one. Very tasty. The Gator bites were super good! The Jambalaya bites were extremely good too. They tasted kinda like sausage balls. The Margarita flight was mixed very well especially the mango and strawberry Margarita. I highly recommend this seafood restaurant.
