The burger was good! You taste more of the sauce and toppings than the meat but it was good. The Pickles were awesome, staff was friendly, and they have a DAIRY FREE shake that tastes soooooo amazing. Couldn’t even tell it was dairy free… seriously… soooo good. I drank it too fast to add a picture.

I’ve been to smash burger many times at different locations and the food is always spectacular, but in the pompton plains NJ location the customer service was outstanding. James is the best! Also, the Colorado burger is the best burger out there.

Today at lunch time I ordered a classic smash to go, when I got home the burger was way over done and burned, couldn’t finished, never experienced in any place being serve a burger like charcoal. Unacceptable

Ordered thru door dash and surprise surprise my order was completely wrong. I love it when restaurants blame the driver who had nothing to do with making it. Waited 1 & 1/2 for disappointed. Avoid at all cost

Well im Here and the customer service of this young server is awful. At 7;00pm I am just at the cashiers and she was so rude. First let me standing like nothing. 5 minutes pass then people were lining and she came and said well there is 30 minutes wait and we are not talking orders now. Everyone stayed then she got mad and said it is half an hour waiting and we closed at 8 we are not going to take any order. She came and asked me to leave I told her that I do not appreciate how rude was she leaving me there and then closed at 7:09. Muy animalita la joven

I would give them 5 stars but it seems every time I place an order here, it comes out wrong. I’ve been a fan of Smashburger since they opened in New Jersey, but the food prep has really fallen off. This particular Smashburger has never gotten the cucumber, spinach and goat cheese burger right…until tonight.
