A lot of people remark about Slingers’ breakfast but their lunch is great too. My Dad and I come here every friday and their buffalo strips are my go-to for lunch. As far as breakfast goes, if you like “greasy spoon” diners then this is one of the best. Homefries, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, etc. …all cheap, quick, filling and cooked however you choose. The employees are always super nice, our favorite waitress always remembers us and her friendliness always brightens our day. It’s one of my favorite spots 🙂

Amazing food fast service always happy to accommodate THEY DO ACCEPT CARDS!!!! Will be a life long customer have to try the pancakes. One of the few home town restaurants that still feels like you are eating at home love the food and staff is friendly.

I’ll give this 2 stars because the food is decent. Wish employees would wear gloves when handling my food. It’s kind of makes my stomach turn when they run their hands through their greasy hair and then touch my food. Also, the fact that they let customers smoke cigarettes in there is a good reason to not go back. Place definitely needs some changes.

What experience?..wasn’t greeted, was never spoken to, never handed a menu. table came in after us several minutes later received their menus and a prompt drink order because they were obviously regulars. Food is typically good, service typically sucks which was obviously the problem tonight! (Have had some nice experiences off and on with the morning crew)…wish we would’ve had a chance to eat tonight! Very disappointed! ….still hungry

Honestly good food, it’s a hole in the wall diner that surprises you. Good prices as well as good amounts when it comes to meals. Breakfast is my go too here. I usually get the Philly omelette which is damn good. Try the place out if your driving through Fenton, Mo.

Stopped to have breakfast with a friend. The food was good, the serve was ok. The place was alright !!! It’s the same old Slingers it has always been !! Hasn’t changed much in YEARS . Except now when you are done eating, you get up & go to the register & pay. They don’t bring you a check to pay ?? I found that strange ? But it’s an ok place to go eat for a reasonable price !!!!

We had to seat ourselves then wait for someone to wipe the table off and take the used dishes. We ordered and I got the wrong food and had to ask for other food to be brought out that I didnt get. Once we got our food it was nice and relaxing.

Food was delicious!!!! My sister and me had chicken fried steak on french bread…we shared an order of french fries and ask for them to be extra crispy and they were perfect,!!! We went to Goodwill after and the girls were deciding where yo get food from and I told them about your food and there were also 2 customers in line and heard and said they were going there….we were there at 11:15…and by the way Allison is do sweet. And the cook so friendly too!!! K.m.listenberger… I give it 5 stars….

The food is nothing to write home about. You could have the same thing at home. Save money and it will taste better. Also its always full of smoke. I could deal with all of it if it wasnt so run down. The cheapest of the cheap chairs tables and stools. The staff I’d always very nice though. My stars are for them.
