Let me start by saying that this food is on point! The quality and taste is beyond measure, that southern taste that I love! We ordered 2 Hungry Meals, with optional upsale waffles only, even though our order was incomplete maybe by miscommunication but that concern was quickly resolved by Ralph! Awesome customer service! Both times I went inside to dine it was crazy! The first time, a literal fight broke out between two employees . I gave it a while and went back, only to hear a manager literally screaming at someone in the back for at least ten minutes. This is so unprofessional, making me feel very uncomfortable. I can only imagine how that employee must have felt. Is it always like this? I’m probably not going to take any more chances to find out. Ridiculous.

Same good food as you receive at most slim chickens however you can definitely tell theres some growing issues at this location that just opened. Food was great other then the mac being a bit luke warm. The service and timing of the meals being brought out was was gave me the 3 star experience. I have been to the location in Madison several times on extremely busy days and received my order faster than this place that was slightly busy. The staff was polite and friendly but you can tell theyre still trying to figure things out, staff standing around looking confused and people receiving orders before you that came in 10 mins after you ordered. I understand that things happen, and i may have came on an off day, but the growing pains are showing at this Athens location. Even though i live in Athens i will probably be going to the Madison location for now on.

The food was hot & fresh which made for a very fulfilling dinner. The wait was not too long but I do understand that they were very busy. The gravy machine was not working on our initial visit but hopefully will be on our next. Definitely recommend 10/10

Picked up in drive-thru. (Extremely long and slowww line) Food for 2 people—almost $30 seems high and that’s with a regular size drink. Would hate to see how much it would have been with a large drink. Food was ok. Regular BBQ sauce was HOTTTTT. Sweet tea..was horrible!!!! Tasted like water with a little syrup in it. I know it’s new to Athens so will try again but will probably stay with Chick-fil-A.
