Never had shabu before but will definitely come back here. Every bite of meat was full of flavor and edible with no bad fatty bits. The broth was delicious and the tempura was mmm mmm good. The waitresses were also very helpful with explaining the best way to cook on our first time. Nothing beats a delicious after taste of good food.

This is a place you come to for the experience. It’s expensive and not a large amount of food, but it’s still delicious and fun. I always come during lunch time and it’s NEVER busy. Nice place to treat yourself or take someone for a lunch date!

Slice shabu is a very simple and chic place to go sit down and have good conversation with your bestie or partner. The menu is simple and it’s a great way to add some fun to your lunch or dinner because you get to cook your own food and have great conversations while doing it.

Had a good experience here. Not exactly expensive, not cheap. Atmosphere was layed back, not too crowded and it sits in the middle of down town Fullerton. We each had different meats and broth bases. Veggies and broth are unlimited and noodles/meat you pay for extra. One of my meats was the ribeye , one was the 1885 prime rib and were good as well as the noodles. Everyone has a personal electric burner at their table. Although not smokey like a Korean BBQ we did walk out smelling a bit like what we cooked. Over all we liked it though and will be back.

Felt rushed during our ordering process…but once the rest of the crew came in, service improved. Price was reasonable considering the different kinds of meat they were offering the “meats” was pretty good and food presentation was bento style. But the kicker was the goma sauce, it had a bitter after taste to it, so it altered the flavor in my opinion…not in a very pleasant way.
