After being on the road for 3 days, I was really looking forward to a proper breakfast….and Skate Belt Diner did NOT DISAPPOINT!
Wrestling All Day
Stopped in for a late breakfast and thankfully this diner offers breakfast all day. I ordered the Farmers Omelette and found my absolute new favorite item on the menu. The staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

The breakfast sandwich was served on a small cheap hamburger bun with uncooked Taylor ham, soaked with grease. the hash brown was thrown into the styrofoam container and melted the styrofoam into the hash brown. It literally a melted a hole into the bottom. Disgusting. Tried to eat half of it but couldnt finish because I felt sick. Will never eat here again.

Staff were really nice, especially Phoebe. It was her first day there n my first time there! My phone had died n was charging up really slowly in my car…so Phoebe hooked it up for me while I had my dinner n she also waited on me – the first person she has ever waitressed!

Was there this morning 8/1/23 about 7:45 …. Ordered a cheese omelette with home fries well done. Absolutely terrible. The omelette was cold and the home fries were not well done and crispy. I ate a few bites and left the rest. I didn’t say anything to the wonderful waitress because she was busy. I will not be going there again for sure. The trolley shop gives you hot food and you get what you ordered. Alot cheaper as well.

Food is always made to order, never had a bad meal here. Also the staff and owner is very friendly and attentive. The gyros, burgers, and cheesesteaks are my go-to (BTW they have real burgers not frozen!). Best burgers around by far.. They now have a soft serve ice cream machine and their parking lot was redone. Great experience

I moved to the area 3 years ago and went here for the first time today. I ordered the cheesesteak omelet. The menu didn’t list what kind of cheese they used and I didn’t even think to ask. The omelet came out with American cheese on it, which I hate. I didn’t eat the omelet and when the waitress came back over, after my husband was done, she asked if I wanted a box. I told her no, I didn’t realize it had American cheese on it and I won’t eat it. She never once asked if she could get me something different or if I wanted it remade. She responded with, OK did you guys need anything else today or just the check. Annoyed I told her, I guess this will just be a waste of $10 then, just the check. When we went up to pay I told the cashier they should update their menus with a better description of their food so people don’t end up not eating. Again, she replied with – OK. Very frustrating because their menu didn’t list the cheese and, yes, I was the one who forgot to ask, but how hard would it have been to at least offer to have it remade?

I go to the diner about 3 times a month. I have never had a bad meal. The chicken caesar salad is great. Love the dressing, texture of the chicken (I like it warm too) and the croutons. I had the wraps, breakfast, the appetizer fries with cheese and other goodies. Highly recommend it.

Not from the area. It was everything you would expect from a classic American dinner. The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and didn’t miss anything. And the place was very clean. Highly recommend. I had the meat skillet!!
