I just went to this place for lunch today and I liked it. The inside of this place looks pretty new and nice and even has nice Xmas decorations on the right corner near the entrance and the service wasn’t too bad. For lunch, I ordered a 6 tender combo with fries and the kool aid of the day which was was strawberry I think. My meal was delicious, the chicken was really good and was crispy and the fries were pretty good as well. The buffalo sauce I got was spicy and pretty strong but wasn’t too bad. Overall, I do see myself coming back here for a meal sometime. I do recommend this place to someone looking for a place to eat in Kalamazoo.

I stopped in on the way home from shopping and James took my order and answered all the many questions I had. He was very patient with me and his kindness was greatly appreciated. My order was bigger and took a little longer than what I thought but the store manager kept me updated on the status of my order. The chicken: we had both wing dings and tenders and no sauce was needed! The flavor of the breading and chicken was great. We also had sides of cheese fries and Mac and cheese for a nice comfort meal. I took the food home and the way it was packaged prevented the food from getting soggy. The food was still hot and devoured by my family quickly. The entire family approved and wants to have me bring it home again some time.

Great food! Great service! I’ve been hearing about this place and finally made it from Battle Creek to try it out. Definitely worth the drive!! My 4yr old ate ALL of her chicken with a fight! My son raved about the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken strips were perfect. Crisp on the outside, moist inside and the flavor was amazing. The mac & cheese and slap n fries did not disappoint either! Before we even left my kids were asking when we could go back and honestly I’m looking forward to going back too!

I hate to put a one star review on this place giving I love the story behind it. I was excited to try this place finally but I will not recommend this to anyone or return unless there are some major changes in preparation of your food. I ordered the 6 tender combo (got 5), the macaroni and cheese was so over cooked, mushy and loaded with pepper, the fries were clearly cooked hours before they were served and the chicken seamed like it was cooked the day before. I literally couldn’t bite into into it and had to throw the entire ($16) meal away. I love just around the corner from here and was excited to see it open but I will definitely be going to Lees until something changes.

I’ve been watching this business take shape for a few months now since I work next door. Monday evening I stepped outside of my business and the smell hit me. My stomach spoke to me. I decided I’d try this place for lunch on Wednesday.

I was excited about this new establishment given there aren’t many chicken places in the Kalamazoo area let alone close to my home. I ordered the 10 piece wings with a side of fries and Banana Pudding. The fries were basic, standard they lacked seasoning but you could easily season it yourself. The banana pudding was a 10 out of 10 a slightly more elegant version of the timeless classic. What put me in the position to give such a low review was the chicken. It was over cooked; not exactly what I ordered (given all the pieces weren’t wings) but 1/2 the pieces had hair on them ( a lot of hair so much it would make me question if the kitchen and the cook have the required certifications to run a restaurant). I was extremely disappointed . I tend to not write reviews but I hope this results in changes within the establishment. I truly want to see you all do well.

First saw this place on WWMT Channel 3 News. Finally had a chance to stop in a give it a try. My wife and I both ordered two 10 piece wing dings, one with mac and cheese the other with fries. We both loved wverything, especially how crispy the wings were cooked! Nice people too. We will definitely vote back for more!

Save your time and your money. Everything was plain. The chicken was burnt, the Macaroni tasted store bought, the beans were straight out the can, the spaghetti tasted like it was from a cafeteria, they give you 6 fries with no salt or seasoning at all. It Doesn’t feel like they put any effort into making anything and on top of that the side portions are small. Hopefully they figure something out or its grand opening and grand closing.

I’ve attempted twice in the past month to get food from here, the first time I called ahead wanting to do a pick up order, and I was told they were “closed” and that they’d be open tomorrow…..now 2 days after their “grand opening” I drive over to order in person and there is a sign on the door that says “Closed, we’ll have more chicken tomorrow”. How can you seriously run a business and expect to succeed if you can’t order proper quantities of frankly your ONLY actual food offering (other than side choices) which is Fried Chicken??? 2 days after your Grand Opening and you’re out of food?…..This does not bode well for the future of this establishment….I will no longer attempt to try their food.
