Slap Burger Bar is Fry Street’s newest custom burger restaurant aimed at original burgers combined with a sweet array of hand-scooped, ice cream shakes and unique soda floats. The egg and french fry topped “Fry Street Crawl” and a solid well seasoned classic Bacon Cheeseburger can be ordered with 1, 2 or even 3 patties. Fried Chicken and Beyond Burger are also available between the buns. All food & shakes have Build-Your-Own options, so it’s just perfect. The shakes have a fair amount of sugary mix-ins to satisfy the most pickiest of shake connoisseurs.

After reading all the orders on DoorDash in peoples reviews, I figured that it’s best to go and pick up your order because they always get the orders wrong. When checking the order once I got it in a bag, I looked at the burger and there was actually no meat on the bun. It was a mistake that was corrected by management and they were very kind in getting the issue resolved for our next visit. Overall great place to get a good burger and shake. 🙂

We visited UNT for an art exhibit with our friends and they mentioned there was a new burger spot so why not. Amazing burger, fantastic vanilla shake that felt light but still awesome… I think the best crinkle cut fries I’ve had in a long time, if not ever. Cool staff and they have spicy ketchup which is also a plus. Posting some (sorry for quality) pics for future folks since we noticed they don’t have any yet. We’ll definitely be coming back!!

I was really looking forward to a delicious milkshake. When I tasted the shake I was not wowed. I took a few more sips and realized I did not taste Oreo or cheesecake flavoring, it tasted like it was a vanilla shake. The whip cream tasted more watery then cream. Young lady that waited on me was kind.

I arrived early to pick up my order for lunch today and staff was SO friendly and helpful while I waited! They recommended favorite orders to try next time and made sure I didn’t walk out without some napkins for my messy burger. The cereal shake tasted just like Captain Crunch and the burger was delicious. Their sweet potato fries are top tier, so good!

Good burgers. However, my wife ordered the Fry Street Crawl Burger that comes with a fried egg on it & it was overcooked. And, it was supposed to have fries on it & it didn’t. But, my Cheeseburger was great! And, the milkshakes were great. My only complaint on those were, that they needed bigger straws. (shake straws)
