On our first visit to Emerald Queen, I happened to stop the executive chef walking around (unaware who he was) and asked him where to find food. He said his place was the fanciest, and after looking up the menu, we were convinced. We made our way to the 11th floor, where we were greeted so nicely. The views on the deck are beautiful, and we will sit there next time, but we had a great dining experience. Our waiter, the non rushed service, and the phenomenal food were what made this whole experience special. He wasn’t kidding when he said he was the best as he greeted us with an appetizer (this is where we found out he was the chef!). Definitely recommend a date night with your love or friends. A hidden gem in Tacoma.

Absolutely excellent. Amazing views, (after dark), of Tacoma. The food is 100% on point as is the selection of high end spirits. 35 day dry aged steaks as well as Double R Ranch steaks. Both are mouth watering. Worth the visit.

Arrived just after they opened at 4:00 p.m. and were greeted warmly by the Host and the Wine Sommelier, Rojay. We opted to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. (See Photos) They only serve Appetizers & Drinks in this area and both were very Delicious! The Appetizers were perfect for two and very well composed and portioned. The Wine List was well balance in price and selections. Waitstaff were attentive and engaging and very helpful in suggesting items from the menu especially the Desserts! Thank you all for making are visit enjoyable and memorable and we will definitely be back soon!

Awesome get away from the casino floor – easy to access without going through the casino if you park in the hotel parking lot. Great food and great views. Bar and outside area are fun and drinks are good

We had a 5:15 reservation, we got in at 6pm. Waited on deck for 20 minutes to order two glasses of wine. They never came. No smiles on Hosts who were overwhelmed. The Chef did a Great job preparing meal, but the ribeye was 75% fat and bone. Salad, potatoes, veggies were very well prepared. Sam the waiter was as attentive as any waiter we have had in 10 years.

Great restaurant, hearty food. More than enough to feed the two of us and the bill was cheaper than expected 😛 The window is definitely a huge plus; in a spot as high as the 11th floor, you can easily see the snow mountain and the panorama of the city.

Nice rooftop place at the EQC hotel. Food was great. Nice bone in aged ribeye. When the outdoor seating opens that will be amazing. Busy on the weekends but very quiet (bar area) during the week.
