Everything was really good! Shrimp was very meaty, fish was flaky, and the okra was absolutely perfect. And everything was HOT, most importantly. However, I personally wouldn’t bother with the banana pudding; I just wasn’t impressed by it.

I usually order the catfish and shrimp but tried the chicken sandwich this time. It is they gave me some buffalo sauce on the side to put on top and it was soooo good. Every single time the food is fresh and hot because they cook it right then.

This place was absolutely amazing! I sometimes lower my expectations when I am on vacation as far as food is concerned. You are trying places with which you are not familiar, and this can lead to disappointing food. The fried fish here is better than anything I can get around home! Rarely, do I leave a restaurant on vacation and wish I had one at home, but this is the EXCEPTION to the rule. The portions are extremely generous, and the sweet tea is the best I have had away from home. They actually brew the tea. Also, save room for the banana pudding. It is also really good! The staff are also really friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good about this place! Go give it a try, and you will not go away disappointed.

I remember the first time I had Skrimp shack and I fell in love. I would get the whiting sandwich every single time I went here. It seems as time goes and they are growing, the quality of fish in these sandwiches aren’t as good. I still enjoy it but it’s not as quality anymore. And the prices have jumped up too.

I ordered the grilled tacos. The food was a little pricey for the portion size but it was still tasty. The collard greens could have definitely used seasoning of some type but you could tell that they were fresh, which was appreciated.

Fast service, delicious food! We had a spicy shrimp Po’boy and catfish tacos with lettuce and spicy sauce. The Po’boy, crammed with lightly breaded medium shrimp packed thick on a freshly baked sub-roll. Tacos were tasty too and the new potato salad was ice cold and tangy! We traveled far and it was worth the trip!
