Foods always good. Lol probably the best scramble dog in 200 miles. Quantity and quality was good.

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Skipper himself, and boy it was a joy. I just moved here about a month ago, and I’ve been checking reviews on restaurants before I go because I don’t play about my money nor my food, AND I HAD NO ISSUE WITH EITHER. We had frog legs, & when I tell you I’m from Miami so we don’t eat that, well the family I came from WE DONT EAT THEM, but like the saying ” you can’t knock it til you try it” so glad I did. They were fried to perfection, also had the whitening fish sandwich w fries, and baby it’s big, fresh and very much seasoned. I felt as if I were in my house eating with my family. I’ve never wrote a long review like this, but I also never experienced hospitality how I experienced here at Skippers. You want fresh seafood, love, & comfort GO TO SKIPPERS

Skippers Seafood is top notch. The fried fish and chips taste so fresh. Customer service is great. I like going for the fresh mullet. Not many places sell mullet anymore. This is a gem. The owner is a pillar in the community and it’s nice to support locals.

Awesome catfish, corn fritters and Cole slaw. Their Brunswick stew was excellent. Service was quick and friendly. I didn’t indulge but they have full bar also.

This was my second time patronizing this restaurant and my last. My first visit was at lunchtime and pretty reasonable portions and price. So when I returned and ordered a dinner combo I was expecting about the same amount or more food because of the big difference in price. I paid $25+ and received 4 shrimp, 4 oysters a hand full of fries and a side of okra I added. I ordered to go and got ready to leave and asked for a cocktail sauce and was told that was an additional 75 cents. Never again! Very disappointed! Not worth the price at all.

Great food, fair prices for fresh seafood. Ordered the fried scallops and they were tender and perfectly battered. Service was excellent and even got to talk to Skipper himself. It’s a great stop for a bite and an amazing small business.

I ordered the Red Snapper, fries, hush puppies with side of cole slew and tartar sauce. I gave it this rating only because it was fried with batter. However, after the fact I found out that I can ask for it to be cooked with no batter. My way. I’ll be back to try some garlic blue crabs.

Living here for a little over 3 years I am now mad that my husband and I waited this long to visit this place. The food is excellent and the owner Skipper is very nice and knowledgeable about everything seafood! You have to get the spicy tator sauce it is delicious! The potatoes in the feast have a hint of sweetness and I couldn’t stop eating them! You will not be disappointed! We had already started eating before I remembered to take pictures

This is such a great place. If you are looking for authentic home cook seafood with home cook hospitality this is it. Family friendly and good price for a lot of food . Hole in the wall gem. Also recognized and thanked my son for service.

Great visit to Skippers. Our choice was great if you’re a fried food fan. We got the full Seafood Platter with friends and there was more then enough for 4. Fried pickles as a starter were great. Next time we’ll try the low country boil.
