This was the first time we ordered from this place. The food was cooked fresh on order. Because of this the wait time was a little longer than expected. The food was so delicious though. The chicken was juicy and the seasoning was amazing. We ordered an 8 piece mixed chicken, fried mushrooms, breast lunch, and fish and shrimp dinner. The fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly as well.

Never heard of Skipper Johns and this place was recommended to me by a friend, saying it’s the best. I’m very impressed. The fried chicken is delicious. I will be back and would recommend to anyone wanting fried chicken. I gave a theee star for atmosphere because it doesn’t have sit down options, but it’s worth the take out!

This is a small, take-out only place for fried chicken and fish with you typical sides of fries, coleslaw, etc. An associate raved about the chicken, saying that it was the best around. I was in the area and decided to try the chicken. The chicken was good, but I was most impressed by the the crunchiness of the skin of the chicken. Chicken was tasty with their special seasoning. I thought that is was pricey, a little. All in all, I’d purchase again.

My wife and I recently bought some chicken from this well-known restaurant and I have only three words to say, “DE”, “LIS”, “CIOUS”!!! This was about the best chicken we’ve ever eaten…no one makes chicken like Skipper Johns. Also, their crinkle fries are so good, they’ll make you crave more.
