Great little hometown bar. Looks newly renovated. Overall vibe is welcoming. I had a turkey sandwich that was on texas toast, very tasty. Might want to look into hiring more wait staff to be a little more speedy with getting orders.

Second time visiting here. I’ve had the wings and the margherita pizza as well as a few yummy concoctions the bartender made up and everything has been delicious! Will be back again for a sangria and wings !

My husband and I came in on Saturday, August 5,2023. We were having a good time until Vanessa and the other bar back started closing up at 12:45am. The bar stated that it closed at 2:00am. They never announced last call. We had drinks still and were playing music on the jukebox. It was evident they wanted us to leave as the chairs were flipped and the floors were mopped. As a long time resident of Swartz Creek, and patron of the previous establishment Hank and Dons, I’m appalled at this treatment. If your business is not doing well close up shop. We have been to S&K on several occasions, this is by far the worst. As a former alumni and current resident I will definitely spread the word about this. I know the current owners as they have gone to school with family members and word travels fast in a small community.

Loved this place when it was Hank and Don’s and I love it even more now. Service is great like it always has been. Way more food choices now, great for bar food. Atmosphere is great too, remodeled and really clean.

After having been a fan of the dive bar feel of the old place, I was reluctant to give it a go, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great service, good prices, the staff was extremely friendly and the midnight snack options were phenomenal, especially the barrel tots. I’ll definitely be back.
