Mad rude!!! The big black dude was real rude, aggressive, very!! SMH try and support my ppl and soon as you walk in the energy in the air was so off, i should have just walked out when I felt it. Teribble terrible first my GPS took me to there old location then I ordered fry chicken and fried cabbage the cabbage had a very small slice of sausage the size of a hotdog and it was black and old looking the potato salad look like slop and it tastes as if a whole container of salad dressing was in it the chicken taste so bland never again will I go back there

I’m from the south and Midwest My coworkers and I are up here working in Ohio and we just wanted a nice good decent meal. This place was absolutely horrible‼️ The chicken was not season the mac & cheese taste like it had cheese whiz ,the yams was canned and the catfish nuggets was greasy and had a crazy smell…Absolutely horrible! Customer service wasn’t good either I ask if they had smothered turkey wings and they made a big hoopla as if I asked a crazy question.. they don’t have much of a selection for this to be a so-called soulful restaurant. The reviews on here Has to be from family and friends because this place is absolutely horrible my coworkers food was nasty too! It doesn’t even deserve one star. Smh The worst food i ever had! Wow

Happened by this place when trying to avoid traffic on 77– my nose lead me right to their door. I got a pork chop, wings with honey hot sauce, green beans and potatoes, and mac-n-cheese and it did not disappoint! Simple place with a few tables but I’d do take out any day. Dude helped me figure out what to order and it was fast and FLAVORFUL. Don’t know what you do to your green beans to make them taste like that, but I’ll be back! Prices were a little higher than I’m used to but worth every penny for some non-bland, super tender, home cooked tasting food.

My first visit 2-19-21…EVERYTHING WAS SCRUMPTIOUS! We ordered the dinners: Smothered Pork Chops, Catfish Fillet, Crab Cakes, that included Macaroni and Cheese, Red Rice & Beans, Cornbread Dressing, Cabbage, Potato Salad, Yams. We ordered all SIX DESSERTS, that were AWESOMELY DELICIOUS! STAFF: SO helpful and extremely nice!

I just tried to keep my dollars in the black community, and ordered a meal for them for $27 and some change thinking I would get a reasonable amount of food was told They ran out of whole wings and decided they were going to sell Wing dings don’t you think you should’ve told the customer that. Also I was trying to get the Mother’s Day meal even though it was after Mother’s Day. I was told by the owner it was still going on to come pick out my cupcakes. I was told by the cashier or something different Mother’s Day deal was over. I still ordered the food and ended up with three wing dings smh If you guys would’ve just been like we don’t do refunds but what can I do to complement your order work on your professionalism shaking my head disappointed
