My wife, brother and I went to commemorate Mom’s birthday. Sir Pizza was her favorite pizza. We chose the S. Broadway restaurant. No one except us was there for dine in the whole time we were there, although there seemed to be a steady take out business. The service was excellent, why wouldn’t it? I’m not a fan of thin crust pizza, but it was a whole lot better than a downtown pizza joint that is about three times more expensive. The Italian sausage was very spicy, just the way I like it. Overall, pretty good.

I have seen several posts recently about Sir Pizza in the Lexington Food Group and when I was young late 70’s early 80’s this was one of several places (Mr. Gatti’s and Joe Bologna’s are a few more) we frequented as a family with my parents and the 4 of us kids. I was driving home late Tuesday night and saw an open sign after 11p and decided to stop and try a pizza. I ordered a Medium pepperoni pizza with Jalapenos. It was ready in about 15m and I took it to go. While I was waiting I had a chance to see virtually no change in the decor of their restaurant and ai hate to say it but that’s what gives this place a charm I enjoyed. So how was the pizza? I would give the pizza taste a solid 4. Like when I was young they still use the small cubed pieces of pepperoni with a change of putting the cheese over the toppings and then slightly overcooking the pizza. This totally works and tasted great. This won’t be my last time grabbing a pizza here.

Today I had my lunch ruined by the rudest old woman working the register. I had called the location on New Circle by accident to place a carryout order, an easy mistake to make, and she refused to take my order at the Broadway location. She told me I had to go to the other side of town to get my food while I’m on my 1 hour lunch break. Any other business would have made the order anyway. I even called the other location to apologize. This rude old cashier didn’t want to “take money from them” ??? this is all the same company?? As if it was coming out of her paycheck. She was so hateful and told me it was my fault. Well I obviously didn’t have time to go to New circle so the food was wasted anyway. I hope she has the day she deserves.

Pizza Special was an 8 inch 1 topping with Salad and Drink for $10 including tax. Great lunch deal. Service was very slow. I was the only person in the restraunt. There were several carry-out orders. Not complaining at all. As I was not in a rush.

Through the lock-downs and since, Sir Pizza has delivered good service and food! There were some hiccups here and there, but my recent order was perfection! Beef hoagie with cheese & mushrooms with their amazing chocolate chip small pizza was perfect. The delivery driver was very curious and I remember him from during the lock-downs. Sir Pizza rocks!
