I’m not happy with how I’ve been spoken to both times going and I REFUSE to go back. Amazing Coffee! But, I would Recommend Coffee central! Located in central city Ky. Let me just say my experience with the staff including the owners wife (excludes her husband he’s never spoke to me) was just rude. There Attitudes was short and hateful, I choose to not sit while I wait for my coffee which from my own experience both time going was a 10 to 15 minute wait because ew. Everyone sits on those chairs (I don’t even go inside food restaurants) and that UPSET them. Because I was being Rude for standing and waiting. In there eyes I was “impatient “ I have arthritis so I was rocking a little side to side and somehow that was me being “impatient” and “rude”. I would take your money and get the best with it! COFFEE CENTRAL IN CENTRAL CITY KY!!

Decent place but wouldn’t recommend. I stopped in for coffee and needed to use the restroom and they had it closed off. Said my daughter and I had to use the men’s restroom. Eventually after some questioning by another gentleman that was in the shop, the woman making my drink stated that she had it locked because she had a curling iron or something plugged in and didn’t want anyone to get burned. I’m not sure if it was true but either way it was very unprofessional and really off putting (especially for an establishment that touts itself as being woman owned). My partner was appalled when I told him. Wouldn’t recommend.

it is difficult to find a café that truly feels authentic. many are able to excel in certain categories, but never every category. sip & spin is the exception. a dimly lit, professional, delicious experience. you can clearly see that this café truly cares about the product just as much as the presentation. ella fitzgerald over the speakers, a thoroughly prepared latte, a kind and knowledgeable staff, and a noir atmosphere to top everything off. absolutely outstanding.

Awesome coffee shop with great atmosphere. Vintage music theme with modern touches, great coffee and drink selection. Also have cakes and various other items to go with that great cup of coffee. Will definitely go back , service was on point.

Absolutely incredible coffee shop and record store. There was more to do than sit back, drink coffee and listen to a play-list – the shop itself will appeal to your inner history buff, vinyl junky, caffeine fanatic and the love for architecture that you didn’t know you had until now.

Staff is very welcoming, atmosphere is unique with great vibes, and our coffees were delicious! Love that they have milk substitutes for people who may be lactose intolerant! Will continue to go back!

Service was friendly enough…but extremely slow. Don’t go if you are pressed for time. I went in and ordered an hour before my event (3 drinks)… instead of making them all and calling our name or a number or any kind of system that would make sense, they make them one at a time and call out the drink name. That would be well and fine if there weren’t 50 people jammed in the place and ordering the same drinks. I kept up with where our cups were in the line of drink making. I knew who ordered before me, so I knew when my drinks should start coming up…they started calling out the names and whoever else had ordered that particular drink just walks up and takes them. No regard for place in line or anything else. After the person behind me started getting their drinks I let the barista know that mine had been taken…they acted like this was a totally foreign concept and how could I possibly say such a thing. Then it took another 15-20 minutes to get my order replaced! It was a total mess and I wouldn’t recommend. I won’t go back until they figure out a better system and better service. The coffee wasn’t any better than any other coffee chain…and a lot more hassle.
