The atmosphere is classy and nicely decorated. The service was great with a smile. Food was good. This is a wine and whiskey bar. The selections are abundant. Lots of choices from 2.5 oz to bottles to flights. Sip has live entertainment frequently.

Loved this place! Best wine selection. They were the only place in this area to have any wines from Amador County, California (1448 red blend by Jeff Runquist Wines). The beef medallions were perfectly tender, juicy and full of flavor. We loved he mashed red potatoes (skins on!) with blue cheese. And the roasted vegetables were tender and flavorful as well. A beautiful, simple side salad with ranch dressing set the stage. The Ole White’s Old Fashioned had the good kind of cherry. I loved my creme brulee and my husband greatly enjoyed his apple pear crisp with ice cream and caramel sauce (the special of the day). Cute atmosphere too.

Service was TERRIBLE. Yes, it was busy, but not overcrowded. Our server clearly prioritized other tables. I watched her. My cocktail took 20 min to come out, which was after we received the parm fries (soggy), the pork rinds and pimento cheese (pretty good), and the wine platter (consisting of crackers, imported cheese, figs, and bite-sized pecan and maple syrup bacon). Decor was rustic, urban. More of a bar scene. Acoustics were terrible. The highlight was a friendly young man from the kitchen that brought out our food. Not the server!
