So look, there are Chinese restaurants in this country and there are American Chinese restaurants. The cuisines are not the same. Really, what most Americans think of as “Chinese food” is American Chinese food and let’s just agree that Chinese American food is DELICIOUS. Sing Hee Restaurant in North Haven, CT is solidly Chinese American. They are also a strictly take out spot and they crank out the food here. The menu is EXTENSIVE. Anything you’re thinking you might want in the American Chinese cuisine they probably have at Sing Hee. Plenty of options for the meat eaters and the non eaters. All the choices are here. For Vegan you would have to ask since you know, sauces are the backbone of American Chinese food. You need delicious sauces and fresh ingredients. Sing Hee has both those things.

Hidden gem. This place was not easy to find. Is located behind an old cvs pharmacy. I’m glad my other Chinese restaurant is closed on Monday since it led me to this location. The food was excellent, the pork fried rice was on point, the general Tso’s chicken was flavorful, and the beef teriyaki was tender. If you are in the area, you should try them out. You won’t regret it.

This had to be cleanest Chinese food establishment I’ve seen in ages. The food is top notch, not oily, super flavorful. The crab ragoons are professional, boneless spare ribs were on point. Highly recommended for a goto place, for people who order often for the fam.

The moo shu had 1/3 the housin sauce it needed. They wanted 25 cents per extra sauce, thereby earning the low service rating. The moo shu pork was excellent and it was supposed to come with 5 pancakes, but came with 7 in a prepackaged pack. I will try other restaurants before returning to Sing Hee because of the manager’s attitude.

Ordered a spare rib platter after a long day of work last Thursday. As i’m eating the food, i noticed the spare ribs were extremely dry, but i was very hungry & i continued eating anyway. Now, it seemed like they were reheated from a previous order that wasn’t picked up but I am not positive. Then, I ended up staying up the whole night hugging the bowl & missing work the next day.

I have to say Sing Hee is one of the best Chinese places I’ve ever been to at least top five! It sucks they don’t deliver but i have to say you won’t go wrong dining at this particular restaurant! Food is fresh ingredients are fresh.. I’ll go here whenever i get the chance

The food and flavor is not consistent been about 3 Times-Dispatch last I ordered a small egg drop soup it was bland and more on the watery side.. eww!!and the Kung pao chicken gad some type of vegetables that looked like they were being camouflage by a thick brown sauce cause I couldn’t tell what they were looked like pieces of the tips if the celery broccoli turnips..I don’t know I did see some green peppers …usually I’d see mushrooms green and red peppers onions some baby corn water chestnut not this times ..also it light on the main ingredient…CHICKEN…
