This is one of the best pop ups in Syracuse – food, service, and preparedness makes for a great customer experience! The texture of the buns is incredible – super fluffy and lends itself to all of the amazing toppings they’ve put together! The sweet buns are absolutely the best of the best – sweet without being overly sweet. And the savory buns are my favorite – it’s such a creative idea and every flavor combo they’ve created has been a 10/10. If you see Sin Bun anywhere, you have to go!

SINBUN had been on my list to try for some time and when I saw the Reuben special I knew we couldn’t wait longer. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch, steak & cheese, reuben, a side of buffalo chicken, and for dessert the churro bun. Everything was cooked through, with sauce/toppings oozing down within the layers, and maintained they’re warmth and flavors for the 30 minute ride home The churro bun made for an amazing breakfast all weekend, heating up just as delicious as the first night. I can only hope the reuben makes occasional appearances throughout the year.

I ordered via Doordash. I heard about this place because my dad saw it when it first opened and he was curious. I finally got to trying them. I got the pizza bun combo, the churro bun, and some loaded fries to split with my dad. Everything was in nice boxes taped shut so there were no issues and they were labeled accordingly. The loaded fires with the housemade cheese sauce were spectacular! I was a little sad that through delivery they got soggy, but what can you expect fries don’t deliver well. The boneless wings that were in the combo were delicious not too spicy or too bland. Just the right balance! The pizza bun was good. Great texture, but nothing special about it really. I kinda wish it had a little pizzazz. The churro bun… it was so delicious oh my. I wish instead of the chocolate sauce it had some of the house made cream cheese frosting, but it was absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to see what other fun creations come out of this place! Overall everything was super fun and delicious and definitely priced accordingly. Between my dad and myself it was one filling meal and we will absolutely be trying other options on the menu in the future!

These really have lived up to hype. I’ve tried a few of their buns now (sad to say I missed the Apple Crisp, but I always keep my eyes peeled for when they bring it back!) and I’ve never been disappointed. The big draw for them is both the size and the concept of savory buns. They’re definitely big enough to feed at least two, probably even three people per bun. I’ve tried two savory flavors so far, both the BLT and the Pizza went above and beyond my expectations (the pizza especially, who knew cheese went so well with cinnamon bun dough?). It’s not just the toppings that make the buns, but the flavor and fillings they add throughout. As good as the savory are though, my consistent favorite has been the Coffee Cake Bun. I look forward to seeing what new flavors they come up with (and maybe a vegan/dairy free bun in the future?). Definitely worth ordering!

I am not a huge sweets person, but wow the cookie bun and the churro bun?!? SO GOOD. And you can’t go wrong with any and all of the savory buns. This place knows how to make indulgent and delicious food and gives you the biggest portions imaginable. 10/10 recommend if you are looking to get something very delicious to satisfy any type of craving.

I was so excited for these cinnamon buns but was quickly let down. They look amazing but if you don’t like cream cheese frosting these aren’t for you. I ordered through Grubhub and tried my best to make sure I read the descriptions. Just wish it said “house-made cream cheese frosting” and not just “house-made vanilla frosting”. If they ever offer a buttercream frosting I’d be totally down to try again.

Let me start this off with I walked in with HIGH expectations of this place… and somehow they delivered and then some. The owners are so nice we spoke to them while our food was prepared. We got the classic bun and apple crisp bun. They threw in a pizza bun for us to try I was a little apprehensive of the savory buns because how could a pizza cinnamon roll possibly be good? Idk how they did it but I was AMAZING! My boyfriend got the classic bun and I’m pretty sure he fell in love with it. I got the apple crisp bun and my goodness!!! That was the most amazing cinnamon roll or apple crisp I’ve ever had! Can not say enough nice things about this place. Can’t wait to see what the future brings for this amazing place. Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to bring everyone I know here!
