Friendly and excellent service. The food was amazing and the environment felt welcoming and homey. Very relaxed and easy going and just a great overall experience. Definitely making this a go-to for Mediterranean food from now on!

Not worth the price. I ordered ahead of time from their online menu which stated that the 3 meat entree (Mashauii) was $25… Which is already steep to begin with considering everything else is almost $10 less. When I got to the restaurant to pay the plate was run up as $30. I explained what was stated online and she pretty much just passed the blame on the 3rd party menu website (directly linked from the restaurant website) saying that they’ve tried to have them update the price to what they have on their printed menus in-house …. But at the same time if they’re not doing what you asked them to, why keep doing business with them, and keep false advertising and misleading customers and be indifferent when confronted about it? Regardless, I paid for the food and needless to say it was not $30 worth of food not was it $30 worth of flavor. The babaganoush tasted like straight up chemicals, I don’t know if it was canned babaganoush and it absorbed some of the tin flavor or whatever, but it did not taste anything like eggplant or any version of babaganoush that have had. The three meats were okay, well cooked, not dry but nothing great. I will say that the basmati rice was nice and fluffy and the hummus was pretty good. I love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and seek it out when I’m ever in an area that has it…. And this was a total disappointment, unfortunately.

This was the first time I’ve been to this place, but I’ve seen it forever. This charming little restaurant is perfect for a delicious and different dinner or lunch with polite service and a welcoming feel.

Wow what service I mean if you want to be transformed overseas this is the place to go. I’ve been around the world and seeing a few places in a while The food was so fresh and it was made to order and the service was better than anywhere I’ve ever gotten. I mean talk about Turkish hospitality! This place is a gem and well worth the 3 hr drive! 10/10 chiefs kiss!

This restaurant is tucked at the end on the courtyard that is in the center of Main Gate Square. It does seem that it gets overlooked since it is alone in this area especially at night. I was feeling like a light dinner so decided to get takeout. Went in to order and the older woman at the counter was a little gruff. Took about 10-15 minutes to get the food shrug there was only one couple eating outdoors and no one in the restaurant. Did notice the hookah lounge on the other side of the restaurant that was also empty. The food though was very tasty so despite any initial impressions glad that I stopped in.

The best Mediterranean food ever for me. The only shame is I don’t live in town to eat here more. The lamb is excellent and so is the beef. The baclava is made there and is the best. They make their own pita bread and it isn’t better anywhere else. The lady who owns this place is an absolute sweetheart. This is homemade Mediterranean food with an Iraqi zest on it. Eat here.
