My husband and I wanted to try this place as we are new to the area. Upon arriving we were not greeted at the host stand until about 3 minutes after looking around for someone. We were then placed at our table. There is an open salad bar so we figured why not grab a salad while we wait for our appetizer (fried pickles). Some items on the menu were priced fairly while others a little too high. I ordered the fried catfish that came with fries and coleslaw. The waiter came back to inform me there was no coleslaw but I can sub it for another side, which I did. No big deal to me. The food personally was a 7/10. My husband got the steak sandwich which was great as well. The service was not subpar due our waiter coming to the table numerous times and not noticing the empty drinks. We had to ask for refills. Once we received the bill we noticed we were charged $14 for eating at the open salad bar. There were no signs posted that there was a charge to eat at the the salad bar that was in the middle of the dining area. Overall food was decent but service was not.

Food was very good. We just the Slider appetizer each because we didn’t want to eat a lot. It came with homemade chips. It was delicious. The meat was about an inch thick and taste delicious. They also have a very elegant back room for social events. It was our first time there and we will return.

This place offers some of the best southern food! There’s a variety & it’s seasoned well (which is what I like). Management & the server was highly considerate as the manager was welcoming and very considerate of our experience there. Although our server waited on multiple tables, she ensured that our glasses were filled. Everything was great!

What a breath of fresh air to be able to come into a clean and well organized restaurant. The food was incredible (I had a cheese burger), the beer was cold and fresh. The staff is friendly, and it showed that they cared if I was enjoying my time while I was there. All and all it was a great experience. I can’t wait to drive back through Wiggins so I can stop by and have another great experience.

While it’s a nice looking place the food was mediocre at lunchtime, they were serving fried chicken and meatloaf as the main. The chicken was let to run out and it was a long while before they refilled. This is a buffet at lunch time so that was unacceptable . The sides were ok, the desserts were terrible, but the frosting was good on the cake per my husband. Very overpriced for what you get at lunchtime.

We ate on a Monday for lunch. The meat was brisket and fried chicken. The brisket was tender and tasty, but needed salt. The chicken wing I ate was dry but tasted fine after adding salt. All of the sides I tried were very good. There was an abundance of vegetables . Nice clean place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. UPDATE: Went back for a second time. Veggies were still good. Only meat was fried chicken. It was so dry and tough, my husband couldn’t eat it. It was like Jerky. There was spaghetti and sauce. Spaghetti was dried out and discolored. Will not be back. Very disappointed.

I arrived and had to find someone to be able to be able to pay for and sit down for my food. I had the buffet and the food was horrible and tasteless. It was 16.00 and some change ribs were extremely tough. I got chocolate cake off of the desert bar and it was old and stale. Couldn’t get a refill on my drink without getting up and chasing down a server.

$15 lunch buffet was a disappointing experience. Salad bar at noon was fresh and appealing. However, there were 12 containers with variations on beans and rice, one small container of mac and cheese, a sheet pan with limited fried chicken and a dozen slices of meatloaf. A dozen small pieces of cake and 2 dishes of bread pudding completed the offerings. Nothing was replenished in the hour we were there from 12 to 1 on a Tuesday, maybe because there were few customers. Will not return

It’s very clean and the staff was very nice. I appreciated how often the server and manager stopped to check in. That goes a long way with me since in my mind nothing is worse than an empty glass.
