Omar’s Eating Adventures
I first visited this establishment at the Food Truck park and fell in love with these burgers. They are always juicy and cooked just right. Yesterday I stopped by the location on W.S. Young and everything was so good that I decided to come back today with my girlfriend, because she was craving a burger and fries. These burgers aren’t overpriced and will fill you up. We did say no mustard on hers and found it had mustard on it once we got home. The fries could be a little crisper, but all in all they are a good eat. Location was clean, with a nice eating area, and the staff was very friendly. Our food was made quickly even with two orders ahead of ours.

“Grown Man” burger was excellent. Homemade banana pudding and lemonade. Fast and friendly orders and very customer friendly. The atmosphere is like my great aunt’s “cafe” back in SC. I will return and highly recommend this establishment.

Tried the slap yo self BBQ Burger, fries and strawberry lemonade from simply good burgers today. Have to say i wasn’t too impressed. First of all for this to be a BBQ burger there wasn’t much BBQ sauce on the burger. I barely tasted any sauce. Now the burger wasn’t bad, just not what I expected, no where close to being in the slap yo self category. The fries didn’t have much taste either and the strawberry lemonade was so so. Was going to try the banana pudding but it was left out of my delivery order. Not sure who to blame for this….the restaurant or the delivery driver that’s why 2 stars instead of 1. Like I’ve said before most of my reviews are based on the food itself ….not the dining in experience or the service of the employees. This review is based on the location at WS Young, but they also have a location in Copperas Cove and a food trailer in the food truck park on South Fort Hood Street. In closing your in dining experience maybe completely different from what I’m posting in this review so make up your own mind if you decide to pay them a visit. I’m going to try another item from their menu in the future and hopefully will have a better experience to report. Give them a try though…I placed my order during the lunch rush so maybe they got a little behind and had to play catch-up. stay tuned for the update.

This place left me speechless…these are the best burgers I’ve ever ate in my life I go to a lot of burgher joints and there always good but here it was amazing the buns were perfect and the meat was even better everything was cooked to perfection I 100% recommend to try this place I’ve passed by to many times and now I’m on a mission to make up for all thoes times cause it’s worth it…the owners are the nicest people they have great customer service you can tell they care about your order. Just want to add a little more to my review it’s a few days later and I came here and got amazing service from someone named shamar sorry for butchering your name if I did jus know he makes a dang good burger!!! As for whoever else was back there with him it was a lady she didn’t seem as interested in her work as he did..

I have absolutely no criticism of this place. The burgers were fresh and delicious. The homemade french fries were cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The prices are great considering the quality of food they put out.

The fries alone were really delicious. Got The Queen Chicken sandwich and was really good as well. First time eating here wish I would’ve gone sooner. Definitely gotta try more stuff on the menu. Keep up the good work

I’m probably weird for liking extremely rare burgers, but when I asked him for an extremely rare burger even tho they are smaller patties he complied and double checked with me to make sure it was right and even offered to remake it if it wasn’t perfect! I’m from Oklahoma but next time I’m in Texas I’ll stop by. All ingredients are fresh, the fries are obviously hand-cut, and the beef is excellent.

This was my first and more than likely last time coming here. I heard nothing but good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. The food took over an hour and there were only 3 people in front of me (unless that’s the norm). By the time I got my food, the fries tasted old! The two young gentlemen working there, definitely need some retraining or better management skills.
