My husband and I went for lunch. We were treated like family. The food was delicious!!! I had the veal parmigiana and my husband had baked fish! We had a delicious house salad like no other I’ve ever tasted. Plan to go back and bring friends with us.

The food is great. The portions huge and the pricing reasonable. Each main meal turned out to be at least two servings. Do yourself a favor and ask for the takeout containers at the beginning The salad was large enough for 4. The baldmic dressing was delicious. The dessert, warm apple strudel and vanilla ice was wonderful. Sylvia is a talented chef and trust her recommendations. I had a native Romanian dish and it was superb. Cannot wait to return.

Silvia is like family. Love her and love her food. Don’t go in thinking you are going to get a fast food atmosphere. It is much more a European experience and you are not getting out quickly. The food is fresh and amazing. Pictures are from a celebration and though she didn’t know that there was a birthday until we came in she presented him with a gorgeous and delicious tirimisu cake! I have also been to a wedding where Silvia catered and the wedding cake never showed up but Silvia brought out a gorgeous and yummy cake big enough for the whole crowd and saved the day. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO SILVIA!

Silvia’s could quite possibly be one of CT’s best hidden gems. Had a fantastic dinner there today. The atmosphere is very quaint, Sylvia is so nice, be sure to read her story on the menu. The meal started with delicious, warm, homemade bread. Next was family style salad with a delicious home made dressing. Three of us had the Romanian wine and it was very good. We were so excited to try everything that we forgot to take pictures. The portions were more than any one person could eat. The chicken and shrimp pasta with a homemade Alfredo sauce was so amazing! Another special was the beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes. The beef was so tender and melted in your mouth. The flavor was fantastic! If you are looking for a different place to go and you want high quality food I highly recommend Silvia’s. 5 Stars!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Love, love, love the food here. I had the stuffed cabbage and Romanian holiday. We were also served this heavenly bread that was still warm out of the oven. The stuffed cabbage’s filling was absolutely wonderful, and so was the Romanian holiday. I especially liked the porkchops, which were moist and tender. The dessert was this sweet chocolate cake with a ricotta topping to die for. Silvia was incredibly attentive and an outstanding and caring hostess. Although it was our first time, we’re definitely coming back (next time, with a crowd!) If you want an immersive experience with European food, this is the place to go.
