: We’re an independent restaurant / ice cream shop located steps from the center of town, and are proud to be one of the favorites for locals to meet friends for a treat. We serve 20 flavors of hand dipped ice cream and our full food menu is served daily until 10pm. Go for the Gusto and get a slow smoked pulled pork sandwich meal, a hand spun specialty shake and some onion rings, or the beef brisket nachos which are oven baked and feature our slow smoked brisket, in house cooked chips, and house crafted salsa. Sour cream and guacamole. If you’re just hungry and are skeptical, just stick with our delicious chicken strips and fries meal, homemade ranch, and maybe a frozen lemonade….try it with strawberry or blue raspberry!

Seems to be the most popular of several area ice cream shops. The ice cream was nothing special. You can get an actual meal here – the BBQ nachos I had were acceptable. The main value to me is its prime location on the road to the dune access – I love to sit and watch all manner of off road vehicles go by.

Very expensive for pick up window food. 4 people eating lunch was $80! We didn’t even get ice cream it was so expensive. That being said while the food was generous proportions, it wasn’t all that great. The nachos were so soggy by the time we got them. I can’t say I would recommend going here.

Originally came here for ice cream, but I’m getting the fish and chips with a Coke and definitely enjoyed the food. My wife got the chicken nachos along with an order of fries, and it was way too much food, but we made a valiant effort.

Very clean area, customer service was normal. My critique would be that with paying for an 8 dollar ice cream, I expected it to be pretty spectacular and was a bit disappointed. It didn’t live up to my expectations but a great ice cream joint nonetheless!
