We had such an amazing experience. The waiter was very kind and passionate about the food. We had the Penang Curry, Spicy Lime Leaf noodle, and papaya salad. The papacy salad (not pictured) tasted just like the one we had in Thailand- highly recommend! Also BYOB so we were able to pair it with one of our favorite Sauvignon Blancs!

Bleh. Used to be solid Thai food, something must have changed recently. Basil chicken was a soupy, unflavored awful rendition of what I’d call basil chicken. Pad Thai uses super thin rice noodles and was extremely sub par. Will not be going back and will have to find a new thai place nearby.

Delicious place with an amazing atmosphere. Great drink selection and service was awesome. Apps came out quick, cucumber salad was refreshing and potstickets really tasty.

Over the past several years, Silom 12 has become not only one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Chicago, but one of my favorite Thai restaurants PERIOD! I recommend anything and everything on their menu. My go-to is the Beef Salad and adding a side of the Silom Chili Sauce for extra kick! Enjoy 🙂

This used to be our favorite delivery Thai place. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted good. We were always impressed with the Pad Thai; it was never too sweet and consistently accompanied with plentiful protein. However, the chef must have changed because we noticed a huge decline in quality recently. In our most recent order, the shrimp from the pad Thai was super mushy and odd tasting. Also, the massaman curry was quite watery and lacked any substance. Also, the garlic wings had no flavoring. The only constant was the gui chai. I noticed their prices increased, as well, so I was expecting the same consistent food we’ve had over the past year. I’m really sad, as this is another restaurant that has failed us.

Myself and my partner really like Thai food but this was bland and tasteless. The service and the restaurant were good. Won’t be going back though. From reading other reviews, it seems that this restaurant used to be much better than it is now.

I’m disappointed and annoyed. I ordered vegetarian pad thai, pad siew with tofu, and their summer wraps. Everything looked to be fine when my order arrived, but I realized the order was wrong once I opened the bag.

Super nice staff, unfortunately the pad Thai shrimp I ordered was extremely bland and the shrimp seemed almost like plastic. For $14.95, I was hoping it would be a lot better. The Tom Yum soup was okay, pretty sweet, but not bad.
