Friendly service and delicious food! I came with a big group of colleagues. The owner set us up with an array of dishes to share. Favorites were the goat stew, jollof rice, fried sweet plantains, and ginger drink-extra spicy! Cool vibe with dance videos playing on a big screen

Food is very nice and spicy different flavor from the chop shops in bronx. I love the flavor of the jollof paa it’s nice like funeral jollof. And the waakye my husband said it tastes almost like the one he buys in kumasi

We came as a group of 8 people and everyone was so nice and set up a big table for us. We ordered a little bit of everything served that day: goat stew, spinach stew, fried plantain, fish, jolloff rice, white rice, egg. It was big portions and the vibe was great. Good music, good energy – I felt like I was home in the Caribbean (even though it’s different food & culture I just felt that homey welcoming vibe I get when I go back to PR.) The sauce on the stew was soo good I would go back just for that alone. Highly recommend this spot. Thanks again for dealing with our large group.

My wife and I have always wanted to try African food, so today we decided to look up nearby restaurants. This place showed up on Google, and we gave it a try.

My first time trying this place and I like it. The place is welcoming and the people are very friendly. I had a great conversation with one of them, he packed my order very nicely and the kebabs he made are very good; spicy and nice.

I had never had african food before and decided to see what the rave was about! I tried another Restaraunt and it wasn’t quite good and then I decided to try this restaurant! I order once a week! Each week since! Jollof rice with goat and Egusi with goat and fufu always the same thing lol I am obsessed! The food is damn good! I am so grateful that this restaurant exists! I’m so damn happy lol THE FOOD IS HEAVEN!

The food here overall (like everything) is always amazing. The attieke/acheke in particular was very good. I’m more impressed on how good it was given that they just started serving it very recently. I had that acheke 3 times already

Ooh I love the Waakye. I order it each visit there. It’s Delish!! Not much interaction with the staff but they were not rude so I felt it was safe to come back so I did. Next time I will step out of my comfort zone and ask for a recommendation from staff. The drink was very strong so if you love ginger go for it. It reminds me of a serious ginger beer drink.

When you knowingly serve old food you should be shutdown. Rice was old, and tasted kind of rancid. But the worst part was the maggots in the Chicken. Google won’t let me attach the video. We counted multiple maggots in the Chicken. All three orders were all disgusting.
