Bar and Grill in small town Wakefield NE. They catered to a golfing event I attended last year. Best broasted chicken in the area. My humble opinion. The pretty lady during day hours was / is a sweetheart. Very helpful.

Food – Solid food. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with some onion chips and cheeseballs. Burger was done nicely and burger and shrooms had a nice flat iron grill taste. The taste that only comes with years of seasoning of the grill. Onion chips were a nice touch. Cheeseballs were decent, but didn’t have that gooey melty cheese if you are looking for that texture.

Good food, great service. Went over lunch hour and they were slammed. Took a moment for someone to come over but after that service was great. Checked on a few times throughout my lunch.

Walked in and wasn’t greeted by anyone. I drive a semi truck and am not from here and feel as if it’s just a small town establishment and they only care about their people. No one asked if I wanted to eat nor acknowledged I was standing there. Food did smell good but that’s a shame. Has a strong small town “if your not from here” kinda vibe. Just my opinion
