This place is a gem. I’ve eaten here twice and the food is quite good. The onion rings potato salad chicken salad sandwich and chili dog have more flavor then most places even consider putting in their food. We really enjoyed it looking forward to coming back.

I had the country fried steak and gravy. It was wonderful. Supplied by Sysco like most other restaurants, but it was fresh & hot, and the potato salad actually passed southern standards with some mustard in it as opposed to a purely mayonnaise base. I’d never had baked beans that had navy beans (pork & beans), kidney beans, and ground beef in them, but they were great, too.

Awesome atmosphere. It’s like you walk right into a country-style cabin. The waitress was very nice and the lunch menu was very good prices.

Food was good overall, salad bar is medium tier, salad dressing was very thin, almost milky. Tried the smothered chicken and the bbq, also baked beans and mac n cheese and salad bar. It was all alright. I would not have anyone order the smothered chicken again as it doesnt seem worth the price. Baked beans have kidney beans in them. Mac and cheese is out of a can.

We just moved to the area last year and have eaten here a few times. They have the best chicken fingers I’ve had at a restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. My husband loves their hamburger steaks. Great place to eat and very cozy environment!
