The staff was very cold and not exactly welcoming. The was decent…. No real complaints…. Took awhile for just about empty restaurant/Deli. The special chicken salad tasted like Costco chicken salad…. So that was humorous and gave us all a good chuckle.

First time here and the atmosphere is old time southern vibes. The outside is a totally different sight from the inside(in a good way) our waiter Davion was super helpful, prompt and mad cool. Food was great. Slam dunk.

Had supper with my brother and his wife. They love it and now so do we. Homey atmosphere with white linen tablecloths. Food was delicious and the service was great.

This is a small spot with an old school feel. The white table cloths help make the place. Sandwiches were good and came out quick there is no fried food and offer pies for dessert. The corn and bean salad that came as a side option was a very odd flavor and texture mix. The service was a bit slow and seemed unorganized.

This is by far the best place to go for salads, sandwiches, light bites and lovely desserts. The atmosphere gives tea room vibes and there is not a bad dish on the menu. It’s a casual neighborhood spot with the best sweet tea in town. They cater as well. Be sure to say hi to Mary Lu when you visit.

A beautiful discovery. If you are looking for an atypical place in Raleigh, this is a good start. Not ordinary at all. Inside it’s look like kind of an antique restaurant where you can see a lots of paintings and diverse objects. The interior needs to be refreshed but it’s bright with a variety of plants to give a touch of color. The menu is pretty simple but diverse. Its tasty and hearty meals. The staff are kind and polite.

Absolutely a must stop in the Raleigh area. The pimento cheese sandwich will excite your taste buds if you can fit it in your mouth! Be sure to add bacon for a little extra pop of flavor. Save room for dessert that you can’t miss. The homemade apple pie took me back to my grandma’s house on Sunday afternoon. If you want the best homemade food that will make you feel young again, be sure to come in and stay a while. You will want to savor every bite.

Since I moved to Virginia several years ago, it had been a while. A friend and I recently ate there. Food, service and atmosphere haven’t changed. All are still excellent. We had their mushroom quiche and delicious tomato basil soup. Then, we shared a delectable piece of carrot cake. Despite being busy, our waiter was cheerful and attentive. I would highly recommend it!
