This is the 3rd time I have been to this establishment. The first time I came my family and I decided to eat here after my daughter’s recital which was across the street at the opera house. This was very convenient being right across the street. The waitress was very scattered brain, she forgot our drinks and we sat for long periods of time without refills, she even forgot one of our meals all together. We did not get upset because we could tell the waitress was very young and possibly new, but fast forward to today I placed a to go order and when I walked in to pick it up. I go straight to the bar. There are about 10 young ladies walking around and going back and forth behind the bar all passing right by me. I met eye contact with several of them. No one acknowledges my presence or anything. All someone had to say is “I’ll be right with you” After about 15 minutes a young ladie finally asked me if I wanted to place an order. After today’s experience I am not sure I will be returning. The oysters and shrimp I ordered were very good, but I am very disappointed at the lack of customer service.

Just went in today and loved it. We’re just passing through, but if we come back to this area again it’s good to know there’s a good spot to eat. Our waitress was on it with refills and checking up on us. We got right in and sat down and food was pretty quick to come out. We really liked the music selection that was playing as well. Food was really good, I honestly prefer a sweeter bbq sauce than what was provided, but the pulled pork was good none the less. Only bummer was it was pretty hot inside, but I do believe I overheard someone say the a/c was down. Cool little place that got busy really quick once they opened. Highly recommend.

We love going to Sidebar…when they’re actually open. The food and service are always great, and the brisket is awesome! They have a great whisky selection and the drinks are super tasty! The Kentucky Waterfall is my favorite!

This is such a trendy and cool place! They have an excellent beer and liquor selection. The menu is great with BBQ options and great sandwiches and salads. I come in every time I visit my dad in Sumter. Service is usually excellent. Our last visit, I can’t say the same, which is why I didn’t give service 5 stars.

The restaurant is in beautiful downtown Sumter SC. The decor is rustic distressed which is done in a charming chic way. Everything is clean and comfortable. We ordered shrimp and fries and a black bean burger. The food was delicious and the service was great. The menu has a lot to choose from and everything looks delicious. I loved this place and the town.

We went for brunch and it was outstanding!!! Got the chicken and gravy, sidebar breakfast tot and Texas guacamole toast. We also got the wings with the dry rub. Best wings I’ve ever had. All were outstanding!
