Food was delicious as always, Jumping fish is a must try if you like spicy. Eggplants with Garlic sauce is best with rice. Pork belly was very tender. Flat noodle with beef was ok, needs more flavor, but overall a tasty dinner. It wasn’t busy when i ordered take out, but Service was not the best, due to servers were chatting at the back, while my orders already left in the front table and I waited 10min before anyone came to give me my orders.

1st time being here. I came with my bestfriend after church because she recommended this place. I ordered the Combination Lo Mein and it was delicious. My son ordered the Sesame Chicken and that was delicious also. We could of shared our plates because they were very well served. I only gave the service a 3 star because the 1st guy who took our order was amazing and nice. But then we got a different server and not only was he rude but when we would ask questions he would answer very rude. Not to mention we spend $188 plus tip and we brought other church members to come try that place along with their family. We are definitely coming back but the waiter with the short spiky hair need to watch his attitude and how he speaks to his customers.

We haven’t been back since we moved to Austin so when we stopped by yesterday this was where we grabbed dinner. Love their spicy fish soup. Lo mein was delicious too! My go too is always this spicy fish soup. Back in the day I ordered this to go all the time. Still the same flavors!

Hosted Lunar New Year party of 50 people in Sichuan Garden with my best friend. It went very well. The owner allowed us to decorate the party room a day before and we had a blast. The food were cooked well although there are a couple of other parties going on at Lunar New Years Eve which is Chinese New Year Eve. Chinese New Year is the Lunar new year that has been celebrated in most of Asian countries for thousands of years. Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, China.

Great place to try out Chinese food and Hot Pot. I’ve been looking for a decent Hot Pot place in San Antonio and glad I found this spot. We also ordered Chicken Lo Mein and it was extremely good. As per the hot pot, it’s not as good as others I’ve tried but it’s very decent, the only downside with the largest tables is that the dish is very much on the center so it’s a bit uncomfortable to eat since one needs to stand up to grab the food, probably on the smaller tables might be better in that term. As per the flavor, the spicy broth is veeery good, the spiciness level is decent. I recommend to order half and half so in case you can’t stand the spicy broth any more, it’s just a matter of taking from the other broth to rest a bit the mouth because otherwise it’s a bit too much, specially if you’re not used to spicy food. We ordered the combo which was around 50 bucks, it included vegetables and different types of protein (including tofu) as well as a couple of dry noodles plates, which makes it a very balanced meal. The combo is designed for 4 people more or less, but you can order additional stuff if you think you’re still hungry. All of the ingredients from the Hot Pot felt really fresh, specially the Tofu, I simply loved it. The prices are accessible and service is decent. I highly recommend this place, definitely will come back.

Truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in an unassuming strip center, this restaurant is much more than meets the eye. Authentic sichuan for the newbie and the adventurous eater alike. The twice cooked pork belly is fabulous. Portions are hearty, ingredients are fresh, and the spices are on point. Staff was busy and the restaurant was full, but food came out in a reasonable amount of time and very fresh. Plan to go back and try the hot pot. I do miss the tea smoked duck though…

One of my favorite places to go, but lately it’s been a hit or miss. Today was unfortunately a miss. The pepper and seasoning on crispy spicy chicken was blatantly burnt. Hopefully they’re able to keep the consistency because when cooked correctly it SMACKS.
