Service & ambiance are great. I especially loved the canvas art around the restaurant and bar. Plenty of drink options and food. I tried the enchiladas and someone else had the fajitas. My only minor complaint were my enchilada tortilla were soggy. The queso was great and free chips and salsa. We will return!

We enjoyed a nice dinner. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. I asked for a skinny margarita and they brought me a beautiful drink, fresh and tart and garnished with fruit. I had the Mexican Flag- three delicious enchiladas-all different, fresh and flavorful. My husband enjoyed the tuna ceviche- fresh and well marinated. The building was very clean, tastefully decorated with large colorful portraits, and festive accents. The music was lively but not overpowering. Large family groups were being happily served around us. We hope this lovely place will be discovered and well supported by the Midland community so it can thrive in our neighborhood! God bless!

Arrived after one. We heard it was a great new place. No one showed up to our table. Pretty bad service. They were busy I guess? We may try again later on. We left and drove down the road to a more established Mexican restaurant that has incredible service.

We heard this place was really good. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. Our server was very attentive. However, the chips and salsa and nachos had no flavor. The chips were very greasy and left a weird, unpleasant aftertaste.

I had the mexican plate, and it was very flavorful! Love the food. The service could be better, hopefully they’ll improve.

I got the Mexican flag enchiladas and my husband the chicken enchiladas. They were good but needed more sauce as by the time they were under the salamander they were a bit dry. Not a great fan of the black beans. I always find them a little flavorless. The house margarita was undrinkable for a good one will have to go back to Gerardo’s casita. Visit was marred by several tables with unruly and loud crying kids with parents ignoring them and more interested in their phones than their kids. Men’s and women’s bathrooms were having plumbing issues. I hope they get it together in the next few weeks. Probably won’t go back. Expect better for a $50 bill for 2 enchilada plates, a beer and an undrinkable margarita.

This is a very unique take on Mexican food restaurant. To start, the salsa had a very southern Mexican taste to it, very rich and deap flavors, I was at that point looking for a mole! I found one, but settled on the steak tampequnio, solely based on the fact one could try a red beef enchilada, a green chicken ench., and hiw they’d do a skinny steak. I may have found a good red, finally!

First time here. The cream sauce for enchiladas is excellent! The rice, papas, & charros are delicious!! Our server was great as were others. All helping each other out. Full bar & beer was cold.

Absolutely aweful. Service was non attentive. After my party of 2 was sat at 5:45pm in a less than half full restaurant we did not see anyone for 10 minutes. We also never received any refills. Food… ugg. What a joke for Mexican in our area of the world. The salsa was disgusting. No flavor except for an odd smoke. Queso tasted like canned cheese soup. Enchiladas. Small, no flavor except for oil or grease. Beans and rice… weird masshed black beans and instant rice with orange color. Again no flavor. We had 2 bar drinks. 1 premium which tasted like old citrus with tang and a sangria swirl which was average. Very disappointed. Food would have better from a drive thru.

Unfortunately, I will never go back to this overpriced “Fancy Mex Resturant.” I had the Birra street tacos. Let me first say the flavor was excellent. But if I wanted a mini taco, I would have gone to the freezer section at HEB or Alsups. 16 dollars for 4 mini tacos, and some beans is a little out of control. My wife got the Mex flag enchilada plate for the same price as the tacos with a lot more food. So I’m confused about how that works. My son got the kids’ taco that came with rice for 7.00. Lol. The rice is nothing special. I’m really not sure if it was homemade or not. And to top it all off 8.50 for a house Margarita I hate to see what a top shelf Marg costs. I truly feel like I was bent over and sent on my way. I’m not cheap whatsoever. But you should get what you pay for. And for the price I paid for that amount of food. It just doesn’t add up. I’m sorry.
