Such a great spot, no wonder it’s been tough to get a table! Our wait was worth it and scored the best seats in the house to watch the chef in action. Every dish was delicious…I don’t know where to begin but only to say, don’t estimate even a simple order of fries! (Crispy, well seasoned, perfect with the garlic dip). The servers are great with guiding you, just enjoy and try it all!

I stopped in for a drink and snack, and was able to get a single seat at the bar. I wish I had known the level of excellence I was about to experience. I should have ordered a full meal! The dishes I ordered were fresh and flavor-filled. The service was friendly and professional. The ambience was lively. I had a seasonal cocktail, an order of frena (Moroccan garlic bread), and fried squash blossoms filled with ricotta. Next time, I’ll plan to arrive with an appetite!

We had an amazing experience here! Staff was wonderful and if the weather is permitting, would highly recommend sitting outside! We started off with the garlic bread (frena) and hummus. Both great starts. We then had the heirloom tomato salad (it was ok – the tomatoes lacked flavor and the whipped garlic was very overpowering), gem salad (solid), crispy eggplant (to die for), and joojeh chicken (SO good – skin was a soggy tho and I personally removed it, but wonderfully spiced). My friend got the Turkish coffee and she said it was OK – nothing out of the ordinary. We shared the tahini soft serve and I’d say it’s not too sweet – a solid treat at the end. Overall, great experience and would seriously recommend!

Shukette never disappoints! This is probably my 4th time eating here and it’s just as exciting as the first time. We sat outside which gives cozy and cute vibe. The lighting really sets the mood. Our waiter was also a “vibe”. Great attitude, funny, and great recommendations. Each dish provides thoughtful flavors and brings you on a journey. There is white wine from Armenia that is the perfect late summer crisp and funky flavor. Everyone loved the Heirloom tomatoes and my favorite was the smoked Arctic Char. We placed a second order of the Frena because it’s that good. I recommend this place for a date or up to 4 people.

Such a great spot! No wonder it’s been tough to get a table here. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and delicious dips. Personal favorite was the frena bread that was piping hot and fluffy. Zalouk, shishito peppers, hummus were all delicious too

The breads and dips were great! Loved the labneh especially. The fish, cauliflower and broccolini were nothing special. We loved our waitress, wish I’d gotten her name. We were celebrating an engagement and she brought out champagne. My biggest gripe was that service staff kept trying to clear our plates before we were done.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in New York. Everything I ate was incredibly delicious. All of the food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Polite and fast service. Great ambiance. Well worth the price. Will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone I know.

Great selection of dips, small plates, and mains. Definitely get the Frena bread, caged fish, and saffron chicken. Dips are fresh and great. 4 people totaled to about $330 (which includes drinks and tip)

Finally made it to Shukette. It’s been on my list for a while and finally got a prime time reservation. So worth it! The restaurant has a great vibe and it was great seeing all the dishes prepared in front of you. The waitstaff were very helpful and cordial. It is the food that takes the crown. The presentation and flavors are simply too
