Shuckers is one of my favorite spots in the reservoir area. Almost every evening these a band playing except maybe Mondays. Saturday nights they get pretty packed. The food is not bad. The best thing to me is their fried shrimp and catfish. They have pizza but the crust could be better. The bayou pasta also could have been better as the menu said angel hair pasta but from my picture you can tell it’s not lol. Flavor was okay though. Shrimps are small and not deveined but also for 16 bucks which is probably the cheapest seafood pasta I’ve had. All in all great spot though. Never had any problems with the staff. Everyone is usually nice from the security to the bar staff.

We’ve never been for dinner before, so we decided to go up there one night. I wasn’t exactly happy that I had to pay a $10 (cash only) cover charge to get in, because we were truly only there for dinner, but I get it…they have live bands playing.

Top local bands, duos and single acts 7 days a week. On weekends you can enjoy an “unplugged” act inside and/or catch a full amped up band rocking the big covered deck outside. They serve gargantuan burgers with all the sides. But a few dozen oysters on half shell with an always ice cold long neck is the only way for me. It can get pretty packed on weekends and it is a party crowd! You’ll see all ages and t-shirts and shorts are almost mandatory attire. The mixed drinks and beers get to you pretty fast but you’ll need to be patient for your food orders when there’s a full house.The prices are slightly higher than average. But admission is free and the live entertainment is top notch.

I cannot brag on the management and team enough. My husband loves catfish, but, due to my seafood allergies, he rarely gets to eat them. Today, the people who make up the Shucker’s family, went above, and beyond, to make sure my dining experience was as wonderful as my husband’s. It’s a rare event for us to just be spoiled and fussed over…. I am so thankful for each one of you. We’ve been married over 44 years, and have eaten in a lot of restaurants; y’all topped them all. From the moment we entered the door, to the moment we left .. thank you from the very bottom of my heart…y’all just are perfection in everything.

Absolutely loved Shuckers! We were visiting my Brother from Tennessee and he took us here for lunch. Live music, great service and one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had made it a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

No complaints. Visited here on a Friday evening around 6. There was live music. Our waitress was sweet and helpful and our food was DELICIOUS. Apparently they’ve undergone a recent menu change, so I was disappointed that some items were missing. But there’s still plenty to choose from.
