Our waiter Mike was really good. We had several entrees at our table. The shrimp and crab pasta special was served hot and with a nice amount of large shrimp and crab. We both leftovers have leftovers! The broiled flounder with butter and lemon was delicious. The crab cake, just ok. Inside noisy, but it is a bar. The White Sangria and Margaritas are a treat. Atmosphere is perfect for a beach town. We were having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures of the food.

I love going to Shuckers. They have one of my favorite atmospheres on the island – especially when sitting on the open deck under the lights in the summer. Their staff is also always friendly and professional. HOWEVER – their food is average, at best and has seemed to go down hill since they opened. Tonight we had fish and chips, and the fish looked like lump baked potatoes. This place would be SOOO much better if they improved their food – especially compared to some of the top notch restaurants nearby!!

Outstanding meal. I had the mussels white which were nice size and plentiful with a tasty sauce and crisp garlic bread. For my meal I had the seafood chowder in a Fra Diablo sauce. Plentiful and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back.

Where do I start? Just fabulous!!! Food was fantastic, fresh and OMG so good. You have to get the oysters when you go there, it will recharge your equilibrium. Great staff, shout out to Brad our waiter, absolutely a delight to deal with. The ladies at the door was so hospitable, the barman was fantastic. Overall a great restaurant experience. I strongly recommend Shuckers if you are visiting Margate NJ.
