Arguably the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the area. Food is consistently high quality, very flavorful, and can be a little spicy (they can tone down many items on request). Love the hot and sour soup and the seafood soup. Sizzling Vegetables and fish in white sauce are great, twice cooked beef always good, and many others are just great. Lots of items on the menu to choose from.

One of few authentic Chinese restaurants in Connecticut. There are two locations of Shu restaurant in CT: Fairfield and West Hartford. The environment is more elegant than some other Chinese restaurants. Although Sichuan cuisine is mainly spicy, there are also many non-spicy dishes on the menu to meet the needs of different tastes. Fu Chi Fei Pian is my favorite appetizer. The service is good too.

Good Szechuan restaurant, some dishes are great. Spicy dumplings are tasty, tomato beef mushroom is great as well. Grilled fish is slightly tasteless. Decoration is fine. Service is alright. Not very crowded. Not pricey, around 30 per person.

Chengdu dumplings will win awards. I’d come here just for them but everything else we have tried on the menu is fantastic and authentic. This is without doubt the best Chinese restaurant in Ct & one of the best in America.

Excellent Szechuan food! one of the best in the area. Great noodles hot and sour soup veggie dumplings fish and shrimp dishes. Reasonable prices and exceptional service. Even have craft beers. Been here several times worth coming back…

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. We were on a table, and the waiter was on the other side of the bar asking what we wanted to drink. He got one drink, and the asked me what I wanted to drink. It needs better customer service
