It was delicious, the only thing that would’ve made it better was the bread. It was on the dry side, I prefer softer bread with my lobster rolls like a garlic lightly toasted bread. For anyone wanting to know the price range my lobster roll was $38 today but it depends on the day, most menu items are around the $20 range.

I seen all of the good and bad reviews but everyone seemed to love the lobster roll so that’s what I got. We sat there for maybe 5 minutes and it was out. Food was amazing. I paid 45$ for my lobster roll, bag of chips, and a drink. Very expensive but who cares when ur at the beach. Highly recommend.

I have eaten here 2 summers in a row if that says anything. This is a walk up counter in Seaside where all the other food shacks and shopping is located. You order, pay, find seating outside and when your food is ready they call out your name & come find you. I loved the very pricey Lobster roll both summers and this year I ate the best lobster Mac & cheese ever! Great key lime pie too… Yes it is expensive – but it is vacation at Seaside. ♀️

We ate here at least twice during our weeklong stay. We liked how light the lobster roll was, especially since it was so hot out! The oysters were big, salty & fresh and paired perfectly with a half price bottle of rose at happy hour! The smoked tuna dip is delightfully spicy! Definitely stop by.

Unfortunate experience in Seaside. I’m learning now that this place is a bit of a tourist trap and serves sub-par, incredibly overpriced food. The food wasn’t horrible, but two entrees and two water cups were $60+ dollars…yes, even for Seaside/30A this is ridiculous. Keep in mind this is a walk up, counter service establishment, not fine dining. Prices are insane – $30 for a bland grouper sandwich. Let’s be honest, there are pictures from your menu less than two years ago and this exact sandwich was $18. Horrible price gouging. Saying “Mkt” on your menu doesn’t make the food taste better and doesn’t disguise your blatant gouging of the tourists. Seaside is a beautiful community designed by incredible people with a new urbanist vision – I hate to see the original intent of the community clouded by opportunistic restaurant groups. It feels like a tourist trap now.

If you want it fresh, you can’t go wrong with shrimp shack. They have the best stuff for the area. If you want the best on 30A try goat feathers. That’s my preference for our seafood gumbo if we didn’t catch all that we needed that day to make our own.

Oysters and 1/2 lb of steamed shrimp were good. Plenty of outdoor seating.

The gumbo was amazing along with the potato salad, crab cake, and steamed shrimp. We were looking forward to experiencing the lobster melt and lobster mac, unfortunately they had already sold out for the day. We will have to come back next time we are in town.

This was unexpectedly good! We would definitely not have gone to this place if we looked at the reviews first. Luckily we were very hungry and just chose the first available restaurant with seating. We had the shrimp tacos and 1/2 lb of the gulf shrimp that comes with corn and potatoes. It’s been a while since I shrimp that tastes so fresh and perfectly grilled. Since this area gets crowded I did not expect such good quality tbh. My wife had a Bloody Mary and she loved it. The staff was also super nice and our food and drink came really fast for a spring break period dinner. Do not let the 3.5 star discourage you, esp if you want to eat anything with shrimp.

Heard great things about lobster Mac n cheese. We come here weekly as we live down the street and with a break between spring break and upcoming memorial day, we had no crowds and were surely not disappointed. I highly recommend anything with fresh shrimp and they have a Lobster Cobb salad that is a culinary delight and a great invention service is spot on funny guy who runs the food almost like dinner and a show. We’ll definitely come back for more
