I don’t give out 5 stars lightly! This place is incredible! Fresh, hot, and delicious! Best in St. Louis hands down! I love their beef and broccoli. It’s affordable and worth every penny. Recommend their Rangoons, been ordering them for years.

This is my worst experience of my life at a Chinese restaurant!! For that Matter maybe any restaurant. 1st the price was inaccurate online on the menu And she didn’t even know. So finally she said oh oh that’s old price. Then She couldn’t even speak English hardly. Then she continued to get my Order wrong. Then she told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. It took more than an hour. Then I ordered general Tso’s chicken and it was horrible!! It was just chicken chunks that had no sauce or veggies like every where else!! I got 2 orders and They only Gave me one order of white rice instead of two. I also ordered Sweet-and-sour sauce and they didn’t Have any. Long story short I will never go back!!!

It was just ok at best tonight. I’ve noticed over time that it’s not as good as it used to be. There was only one person cooking everything on a busy Sunday night. The lo mein was dry and flavorless. The chicken and broccoli also had no real flavor. Everything else was really only mediocre which made me sad because I’ve enjoyed this place for literally decades. I’d like to believe it was an off night.

Showok is a hidden gem. Excellent food, generous portions, friendly service, & affordable prices. Food is hot and fresh. Crab rangoon was outstanding!

Our favorite Chinese! Hot Braised Chicken is so good. Shrimp with vegetables amazing, cashew chicken pretty bomb too. Their fried rice is pretty amazing. They are always so friendly every time we go in there. Love this place!

Great service and the food is so good and always fresh. Taste like city rice.. We call it the chinamen. St.Paul sandwich is delicious!! Its only a st.louis thing and you only get it at the chinamen. Wont find it in any of the “Gourmet Chinese restaurants..

Dont ever waste your time trying to come here. I’ve shown up every day of the week for 2 weeks they were never there. Try calling randomly from time to time never any answer. I’ll gladly take my money to the restaurants down the street.

Good food, reasonable prices. They don’t have a menu online but here’s a snapshot

Great food. Traveling far just for the food but be aware of the wait time as they do not make your food until you arrive. Smart as business but inconvenient for a consumer.

They have great lunch deals My friends and I always go with the L11 Hot Braised Boneless chicken. The menu is not as great of a deal after Lunch but as a tip they let you order lunch specials for a dollar extra at dinner time.
